Position Summary: The Sales Consultant (BC) for Bumble and bumble is a field-based, phone sales position based out of Austin, TX, and will support the Southeast Territory. This person will be responsible for building strong consultative relationships through multiple channels with Bumble and bumble’s network salons located within their geographic territory. The Consultant will make a significant contribution to both Bb. sales and to their salon-clients by partnering with salon owners to help them grow their businesses.
Achieve 100% and above of sales goals and sales metrics for the assigned territory
Grow comp accounts, achieve new business addendums and retail account sell in and sell through goals
Complete 90% of activity management and consistent Bb Relationship Management (Bb. RM) use
Deliver exemplary sales support for the assigned territory by providing instruction on best practices in service and retail based on curriculum at Business Immersion
Facilitate sales and education trainings
Manage full line/full size (FLFS) compliance, new launch penetration goals, new business addendum achievement and Bb.U education bookings
Implement sell-in and sell through strategies with accounts
Conduct market research and analysis of geographic territories such that you become an expert in your market and industry.
Relationship Management and Bb.Ambassador:
Clearly articulate and represent the Bumble and bumble Marketing and Education programs and strategies
Ensure clients are full prepared to attend Bumble and bumble.University events or classes at The House of Bumble
Responsible for attending on-going training and becoming an expert in business immersion modules, product knowledge and presentation skills
Strategically create and maintain a monthly call rotation
Assist with team and individual account coverage
Attend and participate in weekly team meetings, quarterly reviews and National Sales Gatherings
Facilitate the process of points adjustments, gratis requests and order tracking
Liaise with the Customer Support team as it relates to order topics for accounts
Travel as needed to assigned territory to conduct salon and retail account meetings, facilitate classes, host reconnects and merchandise. Expectation is four (4) – six (6) days monthly.
Weekend and evening appointments, meetings, dinners or events may be required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proven sales and/or consulting ability with strong communication (especially telephone, but also presentation and written) skills.
Strategic and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, particularly for analysis and documentation purposes.
Comfortable in a team environment.
Familiarity with Bb. culture and style.
Strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Education and Experience:
1-2 years of sales experience is required, with a preference for phone sales experience.
Salon or beauty industry-experience a plus, but not required.
