Position Summary:

Deliver holistic, 360 degree, blended learning experiences across all channels of Aveda business. Consistently communicate Aveda Education messaging, programs and materials across multiple digital platforms, including, but not limited to, Aveda Pure Pro, LearnAveda.net, ZeeZor, and incorporate into live programs. Direct management of the Global Education creative, operations and administration teams to reach desired productivity goals and maximize team agility. Collect information and assets from all channels around the world and work with stakeholders across multiple regions and channels to ascertain needs and provide solutions. Communicate needs to internal team and develop messaging and programs accordingly.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create execution strategies for global education content in collaboration with VP Global Education and cross-functional stakeholders in Education, Marketing, Creative and Sales, targeting the messaging for a variety of roles, functions and regions. Track results of implementation, share with education team, and adjust plan accordingly.

  • Determine and oversee resource needs to execute strategy, including budget creation and management.

  • Direct management of the education creative and operations team to deliver projects on time and on budget while maximizing team productivity and flexibility. Continue to grow team skills in animating information and learning in a digital format.

  • Leverage opportunities for, and ensure consistent messaging across, multiple platforms, including Aveda Pure Pro, LearnAveda.net, ZeeZor, and determine execution in live programs.

  • Deliver holistic, 360 degree, blended learning experiences across all channels of business. Work with team to ensure that both digital and live learning opportunities deliver on strategic goals and business initiatives. Oversee the creation of programs and tracking processes to impact long term behavior change and determine program effectiveness.

  • Schedule and prioritize deliverables to meet campaign calendar and business needs while accommodating for and turning around last-minute business needs.

  • Source, collect, and curate network-generated content across multiple social media platforms and traditional print outlets and leverage across regions. Develop content into live trainings whenever appropriate.

  • Develop and launch programs to encourage the Aveda network and consumers to post on social media and on Aveda PurePro.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of relatable experience

Experience in salon management and operation preferred

Other:

  • Ability to manage and grow others

  • Ability to collect and leverage key performance metrics and date to provide insights and make strategic business decisions

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage projects on time and budget

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience developing and managing budgets

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative work environment

  • A clear working knowledge of Microsoft Office, an understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite, Captivate or other SCORM-compliant software, and previous experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) is preferred
