Aveda, America’s premier creator and marketer of plant-based haircare, skincare, make-up, PureFume™ and lifestyle products seeks a Video Producer to script, direct, design and edit compelling videos for Aveda Global Education. Create and develop fresh and original multimedia solutions for Aveda Global Education. Conceptualize and produce training and promotional videos that represent the Aveda brand and fulfill learning objectives.
Pre-Production: Collaborate closely with cross-functional subject matter experts to establish objectives and optimal forms of projects. Script, storyboard, budget, develop production schedules and allocate resources. Scout, select, and reserve shoot locations as necessary. Source and secure external equipment needs. Select and hire additional crew as needed.
On-Site: Operate camera and shoot footage, capture and export media, direct and coach talent.
Post-Production: Edit footage and sound files, create and insert static and motion graphics, create and insert copy, compress and output files into desired format, manage media and archive projects.
Lead innovation for all Global Education video deliverables; elevate quality and effectiveness by researching trends and new ways to engage audiences; act as technology/design experts to educate, advise, and strategize innovative solutions with project managers; research, suggest, and implement digital solutions as necessary.
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 year related experience
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere
Proficiency in Final Cut Pro
Working knowledge of iMovie and Adobe After Effects
Detail-oriented and organized* Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with project leaders and internal departments.
Familiarity with professional cameras
Familiar with PC and cross-platform video compatibility issues.
Audio editing and mixing experience a plus
