Director, Marketing, Too Faced- Travel Retail Worldwide
The Director, Travel Retail will support Too Faced with the development of the business model and implementation into the Travel Retail channel with a primary focus on Digital and Consumer Marketing assets/campaigns as well as Product Marketing. Works cross-functionally throughout the organization to ensure accuracy and strong communication across all departments. Including: Global Store Design, Visual Merchandising, Global Marketing & Communications, and Operations, etc.
Liaising between Global Marketing, Operational Team and Travel Retailing to ensure all elements are developed and executed in the channel. Drive strategy, planning and execution of all marketing initiatives – with a strong Consumer/Digital focus.
Identify and implement the process and procedure for managing the Travel Retail business with the brand and the regional teams.
Implement marketing calendar and 360 programs, adapt global marketing calendar to meet market needs, develop and guide execution of applied marketing strategies to maximize sales, profitability and market share.
Develop and execute all TR exclusive and event activity. Take the lead in creating set concepts and maintaining cost, production and all support required to promote the product.
Drive consumer-facing initiatives including assortment, TR-exclusive development, visual merchandising and promotional support from concept to execution by working with cross functional teams.
Monitor all program sell-thru and provide feedback to the teams. Identify market trends; maintain awareness of competitive activity in the Travel Channel. Monitor and control excess and DTS.
Manage COG for all brand and Travel exclusive programs.
Research, analyze and monitor mix of business, category trends within the channel to help build a marketing strategy to drive sales.
Ensure proper SKU management and offering, correctly weighted product mix and current sales objectives are reflected in saleable product forecast, review forecasting of new products and TR exclusive items with the Executive Director, Planning & Allocations.
Communicate regularly with the team to understand and identify their needs; communicate brand guidelines.
Develop sales cycle material for all presentations requirements.
Develop brand goals, budgets and plans for the region
8 years of marketing and sales experience, preferably in the luxury/cosmetics goods industry
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s a plus
Experience in all aspects of brand management, e.g.: marketing, sales, training, merchandizing, and public relations and finance
Strong analytical skills
Travel is expected to be 50% or more
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
Strong communication skills and people skills
