Are you ready to Paint the World Pink! Too Faced is looking for an experienced Sr. Digital Media Buyer with a compelling record of managing digital marketing strategies and leveraging marketing campaigns to deliver outstanding revenue growth. The role will help expand our branded digital media buys both in the US and globally. This position will be focused on running our branded display advertising program which entails an intimate knowledge of: ad serving technologies, DSPs, site direct buys, mobile, video and emerging inventory sources as well as a few years' experience managing direct reports. In-house marketing experience is a plus. This individual will be responsible for managing and optimizing placements through paid social media, native, and display campaigns as well as establishing new, viable mobile and desktop channels for our awareness and branded initiatives. This is a new role at TF, and candidates must be willing to work directly in buying media tools while building a plan to hire and grow a team. This manager will develop near and long term media buying strategies for the US and International.

The position requires an enthusiastic multi-tasker with attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication and an ability to build relationships across internal and external teams.

As a Sr. Digital Media Buyer, you’ll lead strategizing, buying, negotiation, implementation and tracking of your paid media campaigns. You’ll collaborate with performance digital marketing, analytics, creative, copywriting, brand and retail marketing teams to develop presentations. You’ll execute multi-channel (i.e. social, search, display, native) digital advertising programs; and you’ll evaluate and report back on their effectiveness. As a strategic leader, you’ll provide invaluable support in growing paid media capabilities.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and be a subject matter expert on display

  • Mastery of leading industry tools & technologies (eg ad servers, DSPs & UIs, Google & YouTube, Tag Management)

  • Work with management team (Supervisor/AMD/Media VP) to develop strategies for digital buys

  • Help lead digital media activations: Work with team members to set campaign objectives and strategies, oversee plan negotiations with vendors, manage development, setup/implementation, trafficking, optimization/execution and stewardship of media plans for several accounts, ensure plans are executed in line with industry best practices

  • Optimize Display strategies

  • Proficient in Campaign Management and spending large monthly budgets while hitting pre-determined targets in CPA, ROI, A/S and micro-conversion optimization

  • Familiarity with multi-touch attribution, algorithmic models and marketing analytics.

  • Develop a strong understanding of customers, buying behaviors, segmentation and profiling.

  • Identify new sources of customer acquisition and profit via new partners new strategies and emerging channels.

  • Develop strategies for meeting new user, CPA, and geo-targeted goals

  • Lead and participate in the development, execution, and management of different types of programmatic inventory via multiple Demand Side Platforms

  • Structure 1st party data to inform look-alike, conquesting and behavioral-based campaigns.

  • Identify opportunities for new tactics/improved ROI/forecast investment and return and work directly with Customer Relationship Management team to fund

  • Be a platform expert, familiar with all optimization levers and features of both the 3rd party social advertising tool and Facebook/Pinterest/Twitter/etc Ad Manager

  • Troubleshoot and QA campaigns pre-launch and once live

  • Track, analyze, and provide regular reporting/updates on KPIs

Qualifications

  • 6 years of digital agency or in-house experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

  • Must have display channel expertise and other digital channel skill-sets a plus

  • Strong sense of Marketing analytics and how to derive actionable insights from complex data sources

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management from Marketing, Creative, IT, Finance, Merchandising, & Brand Strategy

  • Working knowledge of one or more of the analytics packages (eg Google Analytics).

  • Management experience leading and executing marketing campaigns that are part of multi-pronged marketing strategy that crosses teams.

  • Exceptional negotiation skills, relationship skills and the ability to build rapport with vendors in technology, marketing and emerging platforms. Existing relationships with digital agencies, portals, ad networks, and other large publishers is a big plus.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to get work completed is a key success factor.

  • Ability to multitask, handle pressure and meet deadlines in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment without a lot of direction or oversight.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to synthesize technical detail and communicate to all levels across the organization

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in an adaptive, fast-paced environment
