Senior Sales Manager, Estee Lauder/Tom Ford Beauty/Origins - SG Affiliate

  1. Manage the sales team and to develop business plans covering sales across all channels (i.e. Department Store, Free Standing Stores, Specialty-Multi, Perfumeries and Online), revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the presence of Estee Lauder, Tom Ford Beauty as well as Origins throughout Singapore.

  2. Responsible for devising sales strategies and techniques necessary for achieving sales targets as well as contingency plans as part of risk management to obtain profitable results. This includes assigning accounts by sales person, commission targets and administer the commission plan.

  3. Responsible for the planning, recruitment, direction, organisation and control of sales executives and beauty advisors to accomplish sales objectives.

  4. Manage brand budget, tracks and refine business goals to achieve the Company’s objectives and goals.

  5. Develop the sales team (i.e. Sales Executives & Beauty Advisors) through motivation, coaching, skills development, market, as well as brand and product knowledge.

  6. Responsible for monitoring the performance of sales team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, cyclical sales meetings and updates.

  7. Conduct performance appraisal that is in aligned with corporate practice with clear accountabilities of the responsibilities and performance standards for each member of the sales team, taking into consideration their competencies, career development and succession planning.

  8. Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, process streamlining wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximising business relationships and new opportunities.

  9. Negotiate with Business Partners (Trade Partners or Landlords) to secure the best possible locations for new counters or re-allocation of existing counters befitting our leadership position at all times.

  10. Ensure high standards of ongoing training for the sales team so that they possess sufficient knowledge, skills and technical knowledge to present information on the company’s products and services in an accurate and balanced manner.

  11. Ensure that all sales representative activities are in accordance with the guidelines of Estee Lauder Companies Code of Conduct.

  12. Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product by channel (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales force; and sales promotion programme plans.

  13. Manage key corporate partners/ stakeholders with objective to grow long-term strategic partnerships, driving incremental sales for the Company.



  • Degree holder with minimum 8 years of in retail and sales operations experience.

  • Diploma holder with excellent track record in retail and sales operations may be considered.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in people management.

  • Strategic thinker whom takes a broad view of the business, he/she is results focused and is an analytical individual.

  • Identifies and cultivates essential skills and attributes for the organization - developing talent and capabilities.

  • Strong negotiator and build relationships based on respect. He/she is able to influence internally and externally to gain commitment, agreement and alignment

  • Pro-active and self-initiative, with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

  • Possess good industry and market knowledge.

  • Good business acumen.
