Principle Objective:

The Retail Education Executive (REE) is accountable for delivering an elevated client service experience in assigned doors resulting in profitable achievement of sales objectives. The REE is responsible for building the Clinique brand through the development, motivation and educational training of Consultants and Managers resulting in achievement of productivity goals. The REE manages the successful execution of all relevant education programs and conducts ongoing sales, service and beauty training for all skill levels, including new hires, accredited Consultants and Top Performers.


  • Accomplishes Clinique Education national and account objectives by partnering with the RBE to evaluate talent needed in recruiting, selection of Consultants and Managers. Participates in the interviewing process.

  • Leads the orientation of Consultants and Managers resulting in new hires’ ability to achieve productivity targets while elevating Consultant and Manager engagement.

  • Determines coaching and education needs by studying sales and marketing plans, consumer segmentation, beauty trends in top doors, current sales results; mix of business, and CRM data, conferring with RBE and FED.

  • Develops Consultant and Manager productivity and overall counter sales by conducting Education Workshops and in-store programs; overseeing the execution of e-learning, providing learning resources; and the individual coaching of Consultants and Managers.

  • Conducts all formal Strategy Seminar for stores of responsibility.

  • Evaluates effectiveness of coaching and training programs by analyzing all key performance indicators and reporting on results.

  • Provides training on key products, events and promotions for counter staff, special events team and department associates that work directly with the Clinique client resulting in team’s ability to meet promotional and event goals.


The candidate should have 4 years of relevant experience in sales or education, along with management/supervisory experience. Candidates must have strong leadership and management skills demonstrated by talent and consistent positive sales results. The ability to collaborate and achieve consensus with other groups is imperative. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
