We have an exciting opportunity within our Global Information Systems Team for a Technical Store Lead.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the retail stores in the country through refits, relocations, new openings and closures. Drive innovation in retail and travel retail stores working with vendors to deploy new solutions and initiatives both driven by the business and GIS.

Definition of Responsibilities:

  • Technical knowledge of deployment methods

  • Ability to project manage large stores changes

  • Good documentation skills

  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities

  • Manages implementations through to resolution

  • Reviews deliverables, both internal and vendor, prepared by team before passing to client

  • Ensures vendors are accountable and delivering against their project commitments

  • Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards

  • Manage interdependencies (internal & external)

  • Work in close collaboration with work stream lead and brands in country

  • Ability to deliver service improvement plan

  • Budget management for innovation and support

  • Act as a champion of innovation and change

Key KPI’s:

  • Resolving and escalating service issues

  • Delivery of minor change

  • Overall reduction of service issues in EMEA

Key Relationships:

  • GIS Functions

  • Local in country IT functions

  • SME’s where applicable

Qualifications

  • Understanding of Retail, especially POS

  • Experience of managing relationships and deliverables in a multi-vendor service model

  • Experience in delivering projects within time and budget

  • Experience of having worked for a similar large scale organization in a highly matrix managed environment

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Methodical in approach
