Primary responsibility is to lead the Organizational Change Management (OCM) work stream for the retail solution being implemented in the APAC region; conducting the planning, execution, and introduction of a complete and globally consistent solution for the ELC Retail Operations Solutions (ROS).

This person will play a significant role in the planning, management, and coordination of Change Management activities related to the largest retail implementation program in Asia-Pacific. The program includes streamlining of the existing business processes and launch of the new technology replacement projects.

He/She will work closely with Regional Business Stakeholders (Functions, Brands and Affiliates), Global Retail Channel (GRC), Global Information Systems (GIS) and 3rd party vendors. The OCM Manager will ensure the stakeholders are appropriately managed, communications, training and benefits realization activities planned, executed and delivered as per program plan within each of the affiliates.

Successful candidates will possess a strong change management expertise in multi-functional retail initiatives in Asia-Pacific with a good understanding and application of retail business functions. As a key member of ELC Program Delivery Team, the Change Manager will tailor OCM toolkit by working closely with the Business and IT (in-house and 3rd party) to ensure the retail solutions are adopted and any end-user challenges swiftly resolved.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • The Change Manager is the primary local contact of change management with Business (Functions, Brands and Affiliates) and IT for all matters related to Retail Operations Solutions (ROS) Program

  • The Change Manager will be providing timely information to the Program Manager and appropriate stakeholders for Change Management aspect of the Program’s implementation

  • Works in partnership with the Regional GIS/GRC Project Manager(s) to ensure Change Management plans are aligned with the IT program delivery

  • Manages and supports Affiliate Transformation Manager and their teams, championing the roll-out with all teams: internal customers/end users, brand leads, vendors, corporate support partners, and GIS; is a Program resource for information related to ROS during implementation and post implementation phases

  • Provides ongoing support and has hands-on knowledge of the regional solution

  • Responsible for skillfully managing Stakeholders, Communications, Training and articulating Program Benefits to the Business

  • Coordinates with Business stakeholders to identify and capture communication and training needs, tailoring the OCM toolkit for the purpose of creating effective Change Management for all the Affiliates

  • Active engagement in all discussions with the Business, Consultants, Vendors, and GIS related to Retail

  • Coordinate OCM Vendor presentations; requesting content and defining goals/objectives and/or supporting those objectives in partnership with the Program Management

  • Publish weekly OCM program status reviews to the Program PMO; highlight progress, flag issues

  • Define and resolve resource, scope, and schedule issues within the OCM work stream by collaborating with key partners

  • Drive the execution of day-to-day processes to complete OCM activities, effectively manage 3rd party OCM provider and develop internal OCM team

  • Provides the information to the program stakeholders needed to make accurate decisions in a timely fashion

  • Offers support to the Affiliate Transformation Managers and their teams during the new initiative rollout across the region


Required Skills & Knowledge

  • 5 years of concentrated Change Management experience (planning & implementation of change management initiatives) with 2 years in Retail

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required

  • Knowledgeable in current and future Retail technologies, trends, and information affecting the business

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to manage complex documents and summarize information for different audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, taking initiative to address challenges and act on opportunities

  • Deals directly with complexity comfortably

  • Maintains exceptional time management and organizational skill
