The position is to adapt and implement international brand education strategy in APAC through identifying key learning needs, ensuring the delivery of education solutions and following up at point of sale to ensure that knowledge has been transferred and is being used. Also, as a brand ambassador of the brand, the position is responsible for Retail events and PR activities. Given higher business mix at ‘Makeup’ in Tom Ford Beauty in the region, high level of makeup skill is required.

  1. Learning and Talent development
  • Facilitate key Training programs(Seasonal update training/Basic training) for APAC market closely working with affiliate’s Brand General Manager, Training and Sales manager to understand business context and reflect at the training content

  • Continuously evaluate training program with result and seek for the opportunity for future improvement while closing working with Global Education team and Senior Director in TFB APAC.

  • Facilitate and assists training team in the affiliates in the delivery of the staff training meetings, workshop, seasonal training, new product and color launches

  • Closely work with Global Education team to ensure all training program/materials from Global to meet the regional need

  • Motivate and develop Specialist: Act as a role model in image and professionalism

  • Develop top-tier specialists(Chief Specialist) in each market to be ready for equipping with class training, in-store training and retail events in market’s own in the future

  1. Strategy, Insight and Solutions
  • Identify training and development needs through market visit, feedback from the affiliate and region and develop training programs in line with the brand strategy and guidelines

  • Establish and maintain comprehensive information system on all educational materials relating to product knowledge, display concept, sales techniques and promotion programs

  • Bring new idea and insight through regular market visit and the engagement with Specialist and Consumers in APAC and share with Region or Global team to make proper change for better deployment of brand strategy

  • Plan and think ahead, to achieve maximum training effectiveness and impact within the budget

  1. Retail support
  • Provide retail support through involvement with retail events and other sales activities (e.g. VIP Makeup appointment, workshop, event etc.)

  • Evaluate special events and report with recommendations/issues to Brand General Manager and line-manager4. PR support

  • Facilitate brand awareness through various PR activities - Pictorial/Editorial shooting, interview etc.

  1. Support Marketing and Research & Development:
  • Provide product and concept ideas for discussion at New Product planning stage

  • Research and evaluate the competition and recommend to be reviewed at either product development meeting or regular catch-up with regional marketing team

  • Test new and upcoming products (confirmed and unconfirmed) to be launched, giving feedback to product development

  1. Financial Accountabilities:
  • Closely work with Markets & Regional team to maximize the cost-efficiency of training schedules

  • Ensure timely submission and accuracy of T&E reports


  • University level education or equivalent

  • Minimum 10 years in the field of Training, has Retail operation experience is a plus. Strong makeup experience is preferred.

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills to deal with internal and external customers

  • Strong and Tom Ford Beauty-fit Presence & Style

  • Strong internal/external customer service skills

  • Strong ability for mentoring/nurturing

  • Travel 50-60%
