Play a regional lead for the Applications to collaborate closely with global, regional, local GIS leaders to ensure a high standard of service delivery, cross team collaborations and maintain the cost efficacy & efficiency to all internal customers in the region

  • Act as a primary regional focal leader to align, translate and drive commonly agreed solution standards and expectations and governance. Provide insights/solutions with many key stakeholders at global, functions and region and share best practices, regional application implementation roadmaps

  • Responsible for planning, estimating, tracking and managing the mid, large or complex projects supported by the architecture team. Provide architecture advice and design consulting during the project lifecycle.

  • Lead a team of technical experts to communicate technical issues, options and design alternatives within the context of business fundamentals, processes, options or issues.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for strategy, architecture and governance over the Infrastructure Technology portfolio. Accountable for the optimization of the global infrastructure technology portfolio

  • Leverage technical expertise, tools and intellectual property across the global enterprise to enable reuse, reduce cost and increase the quality of services/solutions provided to the business.

  • Provide strategic roadmap, efficacy & capability models, and monitoring quality of services, process design and emergency trends. Support and maintain Corporate Enterprise model.

  • Develop and maintain policies, standards and best practices for all matters in liaison with infrastructure architects.

  • Manage a team of regional functional expertise and ensure the highest service standards & efficiency are attained as per set standards/agreements

  • Manage the transition of Production Support from current GIS team to dedicated Production Support team incl. preparation and managing of the needed knowledge transfer, defining and implementing support processes etc.

  • Increase productivity of the Production Support team also by further reducing the number of resources

  • Lead, drive & professionalize the Retail Support & Production Support activities in region with collaboration with BRM


  • Proven a strategic IT leader in a highly matrix and complex MNCs, preferably in Beauty/FMCG/Telco industry. Demonstrate the highest standard of ‘leading from every chair’

  • BA & above in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or equivalent. MBA is most preferred.

  • At least 12 years of regional IT business management experience with in-depth knowledge of multi-functional technology/application disciplines/solutions. SAP application knowledge is advantageous.

  • An experienced people manager. Share the regional goals effectively, energize and enable the direct & indirect team members to work toward the goals, build and release their potential to drive team success.

  • A confidence & respectful IT business partner. Can effectively build trust and collaborative relationship with C-level executives, global, regional, functional leaders/team with right recommendation of application solutions/advice. Able to promote the inclusion of many diverse technology knowledge, skills and experience to serve and support business, specifically in Supply Chain/Logistics.

  • Exhibits a strong intellect and ability to deal with complex and ambiguous situations working with multiple parties and their objectives to achieve their business goals consistent with corporate direction. Be able to judge and exercise a right balance between business, region & GIS strategies.

  • Excellent project management skills. Prioritize needs/resources in line with business strategy, identifying service solution gaps, scoping business requirements, managing business case benefits realization and driving service solution innovation to specific situations.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership courage. Show ability to adapt, embrace and draw learning conclusions internally & externally and mobilize resources to improve/adapt the needful technology changes & requirements.

  • Excellent communication skills in English or other Asian languages. Be able to translate business/technical information to stakeholders effectively.

  • Experience in managing a large scale of IT solutions in region

  • Willing to travel
