1) Maximize the Brand’s retail sales for the region and ensure the highest standards of Clinique Image at each counter (70%):

  • Efficient management of daily counter operations -20%

  • Good management of stock inventory good visual merchandising -20%

  • Coordinate, execute the setting up HPPs/SPPs/product launches and special events and monitor their progress during the event and analyze final results -10%

  • Does and makes sure the Consultants portray the highest standards of Clinique image at all times – 20%

2) Develop and supervise the Sales force (30%):

  • Inspire, grow and motivate Consultants to achieve individual and team sales target, through counter coaching, modeling selling skills and strengthening product knowledge -10%

  • Plan, implement and monitor incentive programs for Consultants and generic staff where necessary -5%

  • Hire, orientate and ensure new Consultants are able to perform basic expectations of the job -10%

  • Generic staff training -5%


1) Sales (up to 70%)

  • Review sales targets and performance of each door and then focus on top doors on a monthly basis with Area Sales Manager (ASM)

  • Analyze performance of business vs. sales objectives, shop trend and competition

  • Generate sales reports

  • Ensure brand and counter image as well as visual merchandising are in line with brand standards and philosophy

  • Coordinate and execute the setup of all promotions and all in-store programs and activities

  • Monitor and identify marketing potential for new and existing products

  • Provide feedback on marketing opportunities, store and competitor activities and identify

  • Marketing potential for new and existing products

  • Provides input for product ordering, product mix and assortment

  • Resolve stock issues and coordinate with retailers and warehouse to solve problems

  • Raise no-charge product orders

  • Ensure her Consultants are aware of the marketing calendar, the promotions, the marketing and

  • sales support available each month (if necessary monthly meetings for top door)

  • Give direction and specific instructions to Consultants on how to do their jobs to achieve their sales goals (can be individually addressed depending on each Consultants’ strengths and weaknesses)

  • Assist ASM in the recruitment of Consultants and ensure sufficient staffing coverage for the counters

  • Place orders for uniforms of Consultants, as well as handle staff purchase orders

  • Ensure Consultants abide by Clinique’s Clean and Simple Grooming Guidelines

  • Evaluate the performance of Consultants monthly through Clinique’s TR key performance indicator (KPI) and to work closely with the Education Managers to develop and take the necessary action steps to improve performance

  • Develop strong working relationships with key store personnel and generic staff to ensure Clinique is on their list of priorities

2) Counter Coaching (20% minimum)

  • Conducts 4 Counter Coaching modules (on focus agreed upon with Education Manager) per season. To submit report on the coaching experience/business results to Education Manager and ASM in writing within 10 days

  • Conducts 10 Lab Coat days per season focusing on the 8 Consultant Behaviors and service

  • Identify and overspend time with Top-Performers and Top-Doors

3) Orientation / Classroom training (10%minimum)

  • Conducts on-counter or off-site orientation and elementary product training for new Consultants to enable them to perform their job until formal training is organized by the Education Managers

  • Coordinate First Class training with the affiliate for new hires or otherwise conduct FC themselves

  • Conducts generic staff training in medium size doors (Education Managers to do Top Doors)


  • Diploma in Business Administration with a minimum of 3 years’ working experience or a general degree with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, preferably in the travel retail industry

  • Well-groomed

  • Good organization and communication skills - Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin

  • Good presentation skills

  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel

  • Willingness to travel

  • Proven sales track record
