We have a fantastic opportunity for a National

Wholesale Account Manager to join us at Aveda. Reporting to the Senior National

Account Manager you will be the main interface between our retail partners and

Aveda team. You will achieve agreed wholesale targets through effective

communication, development and implementation of strategic plans, marketing

launch plans and executional sell through structure.

Key responsibilities:

Stock Management

  • Ensure smooth running of all retail orders andliaise with the Operations Department in Kites Croft accordingly.

Wholesale Sales

  • Ensure and negotiate correct par levels for eachstore and successfully sell-in the Marketing Promotional Programmes whilstmaximising store support for these activities.

  • Work with the field and office team to ensure wedeliver everything needed to launch all marketing activity correctlywhilst gaining commitment from the wholesale retailer on intake

  • Forecast for each wholesale retailer and create astrong sell in/sell through plan throughout the year in line with oursales targets

  • Work directly with the Assistant Managerto implement the online strategy

  • Forecast and adjust the plan where needed to meetthe needs of the business

  • To monitor and forecast retail and wholesaleperformance for the store groups via a monthly summary documenthighlighting variances to plan and recommending activities to recovershortfalls.

  • To continually review retail performance, identifystrengths and weaknesses within the store groups.

  • Develop and implement activities tailored to eachstore group to maximise business potential.

New Wholesale Stores

  • Create sales and launch plans for new wholesalestores

  • Manage the order and implementation process for newaccounts

  • Work with the Retail Experience Manager on salesprojections and successful launch plans

  • Work with the retailer on sales projections andongoing stock levels


  • To provide effective communication and strongworking relationships with each wholesale store group management.

  • To ensure effective communication and co-ordinatedactivity between Marketing, Training, PR, Online, Creative and Visual andSales.

  • To encourage feedback from the Field Management inrespect of the store groups.

  • To work closely with the stores, counter managersand SEMs to ensure they have the correct stock levels

  • To communicate regularly with the Online SalesExecutive to ensure aligned sales and stock forecasts


  • Ensure regular visits with Retail buyers and storevisits


You must have experience in sales, preferably

in the beauty industry. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong

negotiation skills, attention to detail, an aptitude for figures and follow

through. The ability to identify and develop commercial opportunities as well

as an understanding of forecast and product demand is also essential.
