Aveda - Online Retail Assistant Manager
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Retail Online Assistant Manager to join us at Aveda. Reporting to the Senior National Accounts Manager you will be the main interface between our online partners, selected retail partners and Aveda team. You will achieve agreed targets through effective communication, development and implementation of strategic plans, marketing launch plans and executional sell through structure.
You must have experience in sales, preferably in the beauty industry. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, an aptitude for figures and follow through. The ability to identify and develop commercial opportunities as well as an understanding of forecast and product demand is also essential.
- Ensure smooth running of all Online and selected Retail orders and liaise with the operations department in Kites Croft accordingly.
Ensure and negotiate correct par levels for each account and successfully sell-in the marketing Promotional Programmes.
Work with the field and office team to ensure we deliver everything needed to launch all marketing activity correctly whilst gaining commitment.
Forecast and create a strong sell in/sell through plan throughout the year in line with our sales targets
Forecast and adjust the plan where needed to meet the needs of the business
To continually review online retail performance, identify strengths and weaknesses
Develop and implement activities tailored to each online and Retailer to maximise business potential.
To provide effective communication and strong working relationships with each selected store Retailer and Online partner.
To ensure effective communication and co-ordinated activity between Marketing, PR, Creative/ Visual and Sales.
To encourage feedback from the Field Management in respect of the store groups.
To work closely with the buyers to ensure they have the correct stock levels
Coordinate Online Sales to ensure aligned sales and stock forecasts
Manage relationship with all online retailers and new launch openings
Keeping sales in line with Monthly and Year End targets.
Analyse weekly performance reports and action outcomes
Join and present at Strategy meetings in partnership with the Ecommerce Manager
Drive online retailer business to achieve sales and brand goals
Coordinate all aspects of the Retailer sites' brand boutique refreshes, redesign and development to ensure deadlines and goals have been successfully accomplished.
Oversee the creation and execution of all promotional activities and merchandising strategy (launches and repromotes).
Develop new programs/content to grow online retailer business through special programmes, customer acquisition and retention.
Develop and maintain marketing calendar for each retailer site.
Work with each retailer for seasonal programming and promotions.
Maintain product launch calendar for each retailer website and retailer site refreshes
Manage implementation and QA of promotion plans for retail partners and measurement of online marketing/promotion success.
Report back on retail sales/programme successes based on metrics set at the onset of campaigns.
Work closely with brand Marketing, Ecommerce Manager, Corporate Ecommerce Project Manager and Creative teams, National Account Managers to achieve overall project objectives
Experience in the beauty/retailer, online marketing or ecommerce area.
An ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and influence across groups.
Understanding of website metrics, data analysis, and reporting tools.
Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task; Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; Strong organisational skills; Pro-active problem solving abilities.
Highly proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
