An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estee Lauder Companies Supply Chain Management team for a Demand Planner reporting to the Senior Demand Planner.

This is a key role responsible for managing the demand signal on a specific brand for the purposes of driving the supply chain and assisting with gross sales planning. The role involves supply chain, operations management, marketing, sales and financial elements, so a broad business awareness and understanding is essential.

The role will be both challenging and rewarding for the successful candidate who will be expected to represent the Supply Chain confidently and professionally at key meetings, held in both London and Fareham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the monthly forecasting process in line with agreed best practices

  • Deliver accurate SKU level demand plans across the specified brand or portfolio of products

  • Deliver high quality new launch scenario plans, including assessment of category impacts

  • Optimal management of product transitions and discontinuations

  • Monthly KPI root causing across demand planning, customer service and inventory management metrics to drive resolution and continuous improvement

  • Lead the monthly demand review meetings and play a key role in brand Integrated Business Planning meetings

Qualifications

Experience/Skills Requirements:

  • a degree or formal qualification in supply chain

  • Demand planning and supply chain experience in an FMCG environment

  • SAP SCM experience or similar demand planning systems

  • Proficiency in the use of Excel, including advanced spreadsheet tools

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to run highly effective meetings
