The Estee Lauder Online team has an exciting opportunity for an eCommerce professional with retailer experience to join as an Online Assistant. The role will support the online retailer team in delivering sales growth on channels, through regular updates and maintenance of all brand presence and new product launches along with support and involvement in strategic and sales targets responsibilities.

This role will provide a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow and contribute to the online team whilst building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities will include:


  • Build relationships with key retailer contacts online ensuring the Estee Lauder brand is front of mind in retailer considerations

  • Be the main contact for Retailers queries/content and image requests/samples and working with the Assistant Ecommerce Manager to define the correct tactics by retailer and channel.

  • Check Retailer partner sites regularly for visibility, competitor analysis and ensuring brand rooms are up to date and relevant and that expired content is removed accordingly

  • Test all links and functionalities of all retailer site refreshes across all browsers and ensure issues are raised with the retailers in a timely fashion

  • Support the Assistant Ecommerce Manager on all aspects of the Estee Lauder brand presence online.

  • Support the Assistant Ecommerce Manager with investment packages/partnerships/content requirements.

  • Contribute and feedback ideas for opportunities on platforms using insights and competitor analysis to determine future opportunities.

  • Attend the weekly Operations meetings to ensure a full understanding of the stock availability and delivery for retailer groups for the coming week and future launches/deliveries

  • Work with Online retailer contacts to streamline processes and ensure ways of working together are efficient for all stakeholders

  • Complete store visits once a quarter to carry out comp shops and spend time on counter to ensure we align our store business with online and seek out new opportunities for Retailer.coms preparing feedback to Assistant Online Manager


  • Work closely with and global teams on the collation and distribution of all new product launch assets for Retailer.coms (product images, copy etc.)

  • Brief design teams on banner and asset requests for retailer websites prior to each new product launch and ensure partner sites are up-to-date with the most relevant content and ensure the brand equity on third party sites are adhered to.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to create Launch Packs and Ordering Forms and distribute to each retailer in good time before product ordering and launch deadlines

  • Support the Assistant Online Manager in planning launches and initiatives and executing on retailer partner websites


  • Build relationships with the product marketing teams through weekly/monthly meetings

  • Understand new product concepts, target markets and planned global/in store marketing initiatives to help plan online launch to create a 360 customer experience

  • Collaborate and coordinate with the teams to collate new product launch assets and plan extra content outside of the global launch packs


  • Have an understanding of online weekly retail sales, online targets and KPIs using ELVIS and Retail Reporting systems

  • Be aware of activity and sales performance on and collaborate on opportunities to drive the brand online business forward across the board

  • Support Assistant Online Manager in documenting and analysing competitor analysis and key highlights in Online Monthly Trade Summaries


  • Own and update the Trade Calendar with planned and agreed activity in line with key brand and retailer moments

  • Own competitor analysis and complete the Weekly Dashboard Summary with key activity and trending topics

  • Document and feedback key trading period activity on retailer websites ie. Valentine’s Day, Black Friday and Christmas


Required Skills;

  • Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally

  • Ability to show initiative and enthusiasm for constantly improving processes

  • Self-motivated

  • Numerate and analytical with exposure to a retail trading environment

  • Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop
