We are currently recruiting for the role of National Operations Manager. You will be responsible for operations procedures of the business, and strategic relationships across Retail Partners, working alongside Marketing, Sales Director, Retail operations functions and the Management team, the position work on the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives and best practices geared toward operational excellence within existing and new Boutiques with a focus on FSS

  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies specifically ( focus on FSS )

  • Regular meetings with Sales Director /BA and BMG for accurate retail projections specifically in regard to new distribution timings.

  • New Boutique openings /implementations

o Gain geographical knowledge of UK and ROI market and follow market retail trends

o Identify New locations from data available and initial site visits

o Identify New Locations /refurbishments within current Department store

o Store Design Meetings including all follow up and PRF’s

 Management of Store design schedule

 Constant liaison with all departments on opening progress

 Input to layout and technology including BOH

 Physically oversee project management handover and openings

o Attend property Update meetings with JLL /Leasing Executive and distribute notes

o Attend Monthly FSS calls distributing notes

o Manage New Store opening meetings ( with Brand Sales Assistant )

o Manage Capex Budgets monthly and requirements with Brand Business Manager

o Action and review P and L new Boutiques – with Brand Business Manager

o General Property updates

o Manager maintenance requests – planned and ad hoc through suppliers and address any national challenges.

o Review suppliers on regular basis to ensure service and ROI for brand.

  • Retail Finance requests and support

o New Boutique Openings

o New Starter trainings

o Christmas till Requests

  • Retail Finance – reports and follow through with ROMSs

o Cycle counts

o Cash variances

o Stock counts etc

o Stock cover

  • Christmas Pop ups

o Manage Pop up Process with retailers and internal departments

  • Work with BMG on Stock and inventory levels in the Boutiques

  • Assist with Sales function on contracts

o Analyze current situation with freq cleaning/Laundry etc

o Agree “best practice “ for Laundry/window cleaning etc

  • Retail expertise – information/Competition /initiatives

Financial Management

  • Net Sales budgeting and planning process with Sales Director agreeing Retail and Net sales targets

  • Develop and manage monthly sales estimates with Sales Director – input new Boutique timings and projections

  • Work with BMG/Business Analyst /SD and MD on Stock allocations and ship dates ensuring deadlines are met

  • Work with BMG on Stock and inventory levels in the Boutiques

  • Attend all IBPR meetings and follow up

  • Manage the Sales Operations budget and approve all PO’s

  • Collate maintenance requests and plan budget and works

  • Initiate and Analyse P and L’s for

o New Boutiques

o P and L review post opening

o Review p and Ls existing Boutique s annually making recommendations on improvements

Organizational Leadership

  • Develop short and long-term organizational strategy for new boutique recommendations

  • Point of Contact for the retailer groups

  • Develop “retail excellence “ mind set initiatives

  • Recommendations on all aspects of Operational Improvements/Innovations

  • Omni channel COE

Qualifications

  • Influencing, communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to problem solve and be agile

  • Understanding of store design from an “operational perspective”

  • Budget management

  • Understanding of retail technology

Strongleadership skills.

Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required
