Position Title: Senior Retail Sales Manager FSS

Position Summary:

The Senior Retail Sales Manager is

responsible for the total operation and running of a Free Standing Store.

The Senior Retail Sales Manager will deal

with recruitment, training and

development for all of their specialists and will lead by example to maintain

an effective and efficient store. Be proactive in driving stock

and sales, performance manage and coach the team to provide exceptional customer

service whilst maximizing all sales opportunities. The Senior Retail

Sales Manager is also responsible for all operational duties within the store

which include; opening and closing the store, cash handling, health and safety

checks and tests and dealing with outside contractors.Other duties include developing

the Assistant Retail Manager in management responsibilities, together with the

development of all specialists. The Senior Retail Sales Manager is responsible for

planning and implementing a strong Business Plan in line with the current

marketing calendar a minimum of six months in advance.

Key Responsibilities:

Procedure Management

Ensure the store is opened and

close correctly and that all key holders are confident and carry out the

procedures correctly.

Cash up and bank all money on a

daily basis as well as reporting any discrepancies retail cashiering

Carry our regular fire and safety

checks. (Fire alarm test once a week, checks in safety log)

Train all stream members on

relevant systems with the store

Manage stock receipts and orders as

well as carrying out monthly cycle counts

Store Management

Manage time, establish priorities and delegate

effectively to meet goals and objectives of the business.

Analyze and review goal attainment and develop

strategies to improve performance.

Implement and manage a 6 month planner of activity

that will ensure the achievement of targets.

Be proactive in ways to increase sales opportunities

and service standards via events. Identify, get agreement for and organise

events that will build sales and brand awareness, liaising with the SEE and

the HO depts.

Monitor competitor products, activity and

results and discuss with the SEE ways to compete and build the business.

Ensure all stock control procedures are being

adhered to. All stock holding areas are tidy, levels appropriate and stocks

rotated.

Monitor stock levels generally and

specifically on key lines, taking prompt action to ensure agreed optimum

stock levels are maintained and stock is well balanced in accordance with

sales trend and business mix goals.

Ensure highest levels of customer service are

provided by all team members at all times. Work efficiently and

effectively to resolve any customer queries and give information to Customer

Care Line.

Ensure the account performs all opening, closing

and cash handling procedures in accordance with company policies, store

environment practices are safe and ensure retail partners and Tom Ford

security policies are understood.

Ensure all paperwork and

reports are accurate and submit in accordance with deadlines. CRM/ OCT data

is input, monitored, updated

Ensure monthly order of testers and collateral is

ordered and received.

Preserve merchandising displays and ensure

counter hygiene standards including testers and fixtures, which should be kept clean and reflect

the Tom Ford image and guidelines.

Develop and utilize customer database for phone

calls, product launches events and appointments

Personally well organized. Maintain key

information and paperwork file.

TeamManagement

Act as a role model to

team members through own conduct, appearance, selling skills and lead by

example.

Ensure excellent

standards of timekeeping and attendance are maintained by the team dealing

promptly with problems directed by SEE.

Develop the ARM to be

fully trained in the overall running of the counter when you are not present.

Ensure they are fully aware of all company policies and procedures

Ensure effective

communication to the team daily, weekly and monthly. Hold regular / productive breakfast meetings and briefs which include

communication on performance, targets, incentives and their achievements to

motivate the team.

Ensure all new starters

are put through the Induction and assigned to a mentor. Ensure weekly

performance reviews are conducted with all new starters during their

probation period in accordance with Company guidelines.3 and 6 month reviews

carried out in the 1 st year.

Maintain a communication system for the account

to ensure all team members receive

coaching and guidance to learn all aspects of their role. Conduct regular coaching sessions to communicate

objectives, set goals and follow up on progress.

Ensure Annual Assessments

are conducted as required by the Company and that these are carried out,

timely and competently following the company guidelines

Initiate increases, promotions, disciplinary

action and terminations with the approval of SEE. All account and HR

documentation is completed on a timely and accurate basis

Ensure any performance

issues are dealt with promptly and in line with Company policy, seeking

advice and guidance from the SEE/HR

Ensure all team members

are using the Appointment Book to its full capacity. All Appointment Books should be well presented,

events outlined and appointment focus noted. Pencil should be used where

possible.

Ensure proactive action

is taken to fill vacancies and assist in the recruitment and development of top

specialists and management professionals. Maintain contact of potential

candidates

Ensure all members of the

team maintain excellent standards of personal grooming and problems

concerning personal standards, hygiene and merchandising are followed up with

prompt action to address them.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail management/assistant retail management experience within fragrance and beauty.

  • Previous experience of setting sales targets, sales analysis and staff scheduling

  • A proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets

  • Experience of creating and executing in-store events

  • Must live within the geographical area specified and be willing to travel applicants must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend for interview

  • Full driving licence

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
