The Assistant Manager, Impact Team Training & Development Retail Events North America guides the development of materials for M
C’s Top Artists. Will support the development of Training Materials, Guidelines, and Workshops for the Impact Team to support the business and the events for North America. Support scheduling strategies and partner with the North American Field Executives Director on how to best utilize the Impact Team effectively and with financial responsibility to the Corporation.
Lead and Support the development of Quarterly Trainings to be used throughout the regions in partnership with the Retail Events & Artist Training & Development Leadership.
Review Creative content and align with the Creative vision to assure it is clear to all Impact Team Artists & Retail Managers.
Create workshops and interactive activities that will motivate the Artists and help them connect to the content while delivering measurable results to impact our event productivity and minimizing the demands on the Artist Training & Development team.
Align with the North America Field Leadership members to assure programming supports service and sales strategy efforts; bridging training efforts through Retail Events.
Identify opportunities in facilitation of Educational events, and direct training materials to further Impact Team development.
Schedule roundtables to further develop programming based on Impact Team opportunities.
Review artistry opportunities amongst the Artists to effectively use the M* A* C Experience, with a focus on ‘Inspire’ in a real working environment of an event.
Leveraging the Retail Event atmosphere as an opportunity to share learnings for skill and precision to implement the M* A* C Experience during peak hours.
Share and implement processes for peak-hours / high-traffic locations to maintain proper service levels on all days in-store.
Support the Executive Director of Event Production & the Retail Events Team with Guidelines specifically for the Impact Team.
Support Impact Team directed-content to be included in each collection’s Retail Event Guidelines.
Facilitate Event Trainings & Impact Team Trainings as needed.
Execute Retail Manager Event Workshops as needed.
Partner with key Field Leadership to identify training needs and evolution for the Impact Team.
Attend and support event activity to identify effectiveness of trainings and new opportunities.
Host regular calls/webinars and meetings with both Field Leadership teams to identify needs of support.
Further develop the Top Artists to make greater impacts on retention as well as drive business results.
Maintain scheduling guidance for the Field for the utilization of Impact team.
Collection, processing and management of all Impact Team/Retail Manager Training Evaluations
Create Reports on Status of Impact Team & Retail Manager development for executive team and departments.
Secret shop audits of Impact Team & Retail Manager connection in select markets and event environments.
Qualifications / Skills:
3-4 years related experience; training/public speaking/presentation experience essential
College degree preferred
Excellent communication & organizational skills (oral and written).
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
In-store cosmetics experience preferred
Understanding of web-based databases, Adobe design knowledge essential (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Training and presentation skills a preferred
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple deadline-oriented projects.
Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills. Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and handle change
