Position Summary:

This role directs North America marketing strategies and runs execution as consistent with GLAMGLOW Global Brand Marketing Strategy and short / long term goals. This candidate helps achieve the North America Sales and Business goals by driving marketing programs and tools nationally and with key retail partners. Responsible for the exceptional execution of launches/promotions by maximizing marketing execution processes. Strong liaison between NA Sales, Key Account Managers, Global Operations and Global Marketing.

This position will report to VP, NA Sales and will matrix to VP, Global Marketing & Education / Events.


  • Lead the creation of the overall marketing strategy for North America with ongoing input and alignment with NA Sales and Global Marketing. This candidate will execute programs that address the needs of the retail partners.

Spearhead the planning of both national and retailer-specific marketing programs to drive sales and profitability at launch and post-launch. Ensure a planning cycle that delivers on the full launch potential and sustainability post product launch.

  • Increase transactions through leveraging both new launches and existing retail growth drivers. Recommend strategies and tactical plans to maximize sales impact.

  • Implement a product sampling strategy for retail partners and client recruitment campaigns and tools.

  • Participates in the interaction between Global Product Marketing, Global Demand Planning, Global Consumer Marketing (who runs Global/NA Digital/Social platforms & budgets), Merchandising, Education & Events as well as Global PR (who runs Global/NA PR execution & budgets) in the planning &execution of NA marketing programs.

  • Collaborates with Online group to maximize online programs and bolster retail sales.

  • In partnership with VP, NA Sales & VP, Global Marketing, directs the NA annual marketing strategy, planning and execution, including the prioritization of all launches and programs. Key function will be to implement, manage and track programs.

  • Run all marketing analytics for NA. Ensuring that Marketing spend is optimized.

  • Serve as key marketing contact for the field team devising strategies for field driven initiatives.

  • Works with Global Marketing Team in the execution of retailer-exclusive marketing programs.

  • In partnership with Key Account Managers, address retailer needs on daily basis in both internal marketing meetings as well as in retailer meetings; closely collaborate with field and retail partners.

  • Act as a key liaison to Global Marketing

  • Research competitive information and analysis to VP, Global Marketing and VP, NA Sales.

  • Analyze NA field feedback, sales data, distribution information, business conditions and competitive activity that may influence plan performance.

  • Develop and track the NA Marketing budget in conjunction with the VP, Global Marketing, VP, NA Sales and Finance.


  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred

  • 8 years marketing experience with proven track record of NA Marketing & solid exposure to Sales. (# of years’ experience is different vs. header of document)

  • Must have the ability to think strategically and must have superior executional skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and detail orientation required to manage highly complex categories, programs, and retailer initiatives.

  • Requires strong problem solving capabilities and the ability to work independently.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
