Principle Objective:

The Retail Business

Executive (RBE) is accountable for the profitable achievement of sales

objectives for assigned doors. The RBE

is responsible for the financial success and successful operation of the

business within defined doors. The RBE is focused on building the Clinique

brand within the market place by managing the execution of sales and marketing

programs while maximizing Consultant productivity, clientele management and

ensuring the delivery of an elevated client experience.


  • Workswith Regional Retail Director to project sales growth and profit for assigneddoors.

  • Establishesperformance goals for counter teams based on budgeted growth and profitability.

  • Leadsthe selection process for all counter staff.

  • Maintainsawareness of market trends in the region, understanding customer preferencesand needs while monitoring what local competitors are doing.

  • Understandclient shopping patterns and monitor trends within assigned doors.

  • Workswith REE and FEE to create tactical plans to drive retail sales through CRM andClient Experience.

  • MaintainsManagers by recruiting, developing, and interviewing Counter and BusinessManagers.

  • Positivelyimpacts the performance of counter staff by implementing and managingproductivity initiatives—including hour utilization, schedule optimization,performance and goal management.

  • Plansand executes amplified seasonal special events in top doors workingcollaboratively with key internal and external partners—responsible for specialevents budget and hour utilization of promotional Consultants.

  • Establishesand maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all merchandising,promotional materials, and events.

  • Analyzesand manages controllable expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.

  • Analyzessales figures—overall sales, Consultant productivity, CRM data, product mix andpenetration, and competition, interpreting trends to accelerate sales.

  • Establishesand fosters relationships with retail management to influence implementation ofprograms and sales initiatives.




candidate should have 4 years of relevant experience in sales or education,

along with management/supervisory experience. Candidates must have strong

leadership and management skills demonstrated by talent and consistent positive

sales results. The ability to collaborate and achieve consensus with other
