To drive retail sales at Sephora and build positive brand awareness through effective retailer trainings, artistry and sales support, event planning, execution and participation. They must pass all levels of Smashbox Artistry Certification Program and demonstrate at the highest level of makeup artistry skills while staying current on trend and technique.

SALES (45%)

Achieve annual fiscal sales objectives in specified Sephora region.

Responsible for driving sales through effective in-store training and sales support.

Incremental events in each door.

Consistently meet personal sales productivity objective of $125/hr.

Featured artist role in level A Sephora Events beyond personal territory.


Represent highest caliber of Smashbox Artistry and training technique.

Advanced fluency in all matters of artistry technique, Smashbox training technique and Sephora standards/programs.

Maintain Smashbox Artistry Certification standards seasonally.

Leadership role in training Specialty-Multi Area Artistry Trainers on Sephora sales/artistry technique and programming.

Partner with National Account Director and Education Team on developing Sephora specific training strategies to drive retail sales.

Responsible for conducting and leading new store opening trainings, specialized retailer trainings (Sephora Artistry Lab, Cluster Trainings etc), beyond personal territory.

Train retail teams on Smashbox DNA, products, artistry and selling techniques.

Pursue continuing education to stay current on makeup, art, fashion trends.


Strategize and secure effective, monthly store-visit schedule to impact sales growth.

Execute in partnership with Account Executive a strategic event plan to accelerate brand awareness and fiscal growth.

(Proper store choice, date, retailer trainings and freelance development affect goal achievement.)

Responsible for meeting T&E and freelance budgetary objectives.


Responsible for developing retailer relationships to amplify brand presence, recognition and fiscal growth.

Consistently partner and communicate with Account Executive, Regional Training Executive and National Artistry Trainer to develop overall business and freelance team.

Set the example in all aspects of business, artistry, sales, image and professional Smashbox standards with a specific Sephora focus.
