This position is responsible for establishing a strategic direction / roadmap for and governance of Software Asset Management. The incumbent will establish a business as usual practice and align with legal and vendor management in audit practices.

Develop Software Asset Management Strategy for ELC; which includes:

  • Analyzing existing environment and recommending a solution that will jump-start a customized plan to bring savings and efficiencies throughout all targeted processes

  • Developing lifecycle sourcing needs, including contract negotiation, training services, restructuring activities and program planning

  • Improving process efficiencies, maximize cost savings, minimize operational risk exposure, control critical vendor relationships and manage vital software assets

  • Delivering foundational processes for team, asses and develop skills for new support model

Collaboration:

  • This position will collaborate with senior leaders to align the software asset management strategy with broader business objectives.

  • Will lead efforts to engage all levels of management in understanding and supporting the strategic objectives and the importance of measurement and accountability for results

  • Will establish strong relationships with key stakeholders to develop:

-Governance

-Information and reporting to peers across Firm

Projects & Other Activities:

  • Leads and manages Software Asset Management Strategy and Reporting projects.

  • Leads and manages Software Asset Management projects and ad hoc initiatives as required.

  • Engages with CTO and to support preparation for Board meetings, Governance and Oversight Committee meetings and presentations to external audiences.

  • Represents Software Asset Management and provides analysis, recommendations and input on high priority and strategic enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

This individual must demonstrate the ability to assume leadership and project management responsibilities for influencing change across a diverse range of stakeholders.

Core Capabilities:

5-7 years of experience in IT software asset management with increasing leadership responsibilities. Proven experience in managing infrastructure organizations and a deep ITIL background. Partners with People to execute and refine process and procedures in all regions.

Possess the ability to influence down and across the organization with the ability to interface with senior leaders

Strong track record of implementing operational improvements to support strategies, able to influence organizational change.

Proven results in working within a high performance work team and gaining credibility with multiple stakeholders.

Expertise in Flexera, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SAP Financials

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

% of Travel Time: 10%
