The Director of VMO Analytics & Operations will support the global Vendor Management Office.

She/he will have accountability for driving the strategic planning process, ensuring alignment with overall GIS priorities and implementing best practices within the VMO. The role will work with VMO Global Head, Category and Regional leads to communicate and implement key goals and initiatives. The role will also be accountable for tracking and reporting vendor analytics including the communication of all vendor related executive reporting to GISLT

The successful candidate will move the organizations to the next level of maturity and accountability for strategic outcomes that are performance based and aligned with business priorities.

This position is responsible for strategic planning, metrics and reporting processes, systems, and results. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Managing the strategy development and implementation lifecycle.

  • Aligning performance measures and reporting to meet the evolving needs of the supported organizations and outsource partners

  • Ensuring regular review of performance against targets for strategic metrics and business information (BI) with vendors, outsource partners and internal customers

  • Integrating new metrics and reports into standard reporting platforms and processes.

  • Work with supporting business partners and key stakeholders, including; Finance, PMO, IT Procurement, and Legal to minimize redundancies and ensure processes are efficient and effective.

  • Direct the continuous improvement of the organization.

  • Enable growth by new business development.


  • This position will collaborate with senior leaders to align VMO strategy with broader business objectives.

  • Will lead efforts to engage all levels of management in understanding and supporting the strategic objectives and the importance of measurement and accountability for results

  • Will monitor and gauge the progress of VMO initiatives through focused execution and coordinated delivery

  • Will establish strong relationships with key stakeholders including:

  • Leads and manages Strategy and Reporting projects for the VMO.

  • Represents VMO and provides analysis, recommendations and input on high priority and strategic enterprise initiatives.

7-10 years’ experience managing vendor analytics and implementing Vendor related processes and procedures.

Strong record of driving operational improvements to support business strategies.

Specific experience and thought leadership in maximizing productivity through the use of SharePoint tools and methods.

Expertise in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and SharePoint
