This position will be a significant participant in the value realization team for a multiyear, multifaceted Business Transformation initiative, responsible for building and monitoring a value realization model that tracks program savings providing reports, analysis and insights to Initiative Owners, Executive Sponsors and Senior Business Leaders.

Partners with Initiative Owners (Leaders, Finance and HR) to ensure that business cases are managed and updated.

This position is based in Melville, NY and will require travel to NYC at least 1 time per week.

Value Realization

  • Actively maintains and monitors the value realization tool inclusive of updated data inputs for all benefits, costs and investments providing visibility to the “big picture” of how value realization will be achieved across all LBF initiatives

  • Based on continuous monitoring, analysis and insights, ensure that realization risks are surfaced early, and that risk mitigation plan is provided by the initiative owner and tracked

  • Provide expertise on principles to assist initiative owners with the identification of value events, financial and operational

  • Ensure value realization indicators and metrics are established

  • Identify the source of value data in support of monitoring and develop processes for smooth exchange of information

  • Utilizes predictive indicators to mitigate risks and monitor progress toward realization

  • Develop and maintain modelling for value realization scenarios leveraging the tool and other sources

Tracking and Reporting

  • Track ongoing Initiative submissions inclusive of Restructuring and Other Costs, Non Restructuring Costs, Net Benefits and related components reflecting timing and impact on LRP/Budget/Estimate

  • Develop and manage ongoing forecast process to track and measure program progress

  • Track and report on submission baseline used to inform LBF parameters compared to approval requests, forecast, and actual costs including changes in payback period and cost benefit

  • Identify, track, analyze, and report on the business outcomes of initiatives

  • Create/update Executive presentations to summarize program

  • Collect Stretch Plan submission and evaluate impact on LRP/Budget/Estimate

  • Monitor approval requests and timing impacts for phased initiatives

  • Tracking, monitoring and coordination of the overlay of approved initiatives to the current budget, estimate and LRP

Team Integration & Alignment

  • Develops relationships with key stakeholders and works to build commitment to initiatives

  • Provides guidance and support to the initiative leaders to build commitment and address risks

  • Assist initiative owners understand and are working toward their transformation plan, milestones, and realization goals


  • 5 years of Finance experience, with project management experience

  • Strong assessment, problem solving, and project management skills with the ability to work/analyze/build efficient analyses and reports for Executive level insights and metrics

  • Outcome and metrics driven; use of benchmarking and analytics to create, revise and deploy programs; strong financial and business acumen

  • Ability to build and cultivate relationships creating a collaborative environment

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required, including executive presence and direct interaction with Senior Management

  • Effective in managing competing priorities, work under pressure of tight deadlines and multitask

  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint skills a must

  • Experience in leading, aligning, and engaging on team vision

  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs and direction of Senior Management

  • Excellent organization, writing and listening skills
