JOB FUNCTION:

Supports the Production Supervisor in ensuring all production lines and their crews are working at optimum performance. Coordinates and executes the filling and assembly of products in accordance with quality and productivity standards.

ACCOUNTABAILITIES:

  • Complies with all prescribed Safety and GMP procedures

  • Actively supports Continuous Improvement initiatives

  • Assign line tasks per productivity guidelines and communicate all safety and quality instructions

  • Rotate all members of line according to work instructions for each job as required

  • Provide and communicate “pass down” information during shift change to next shift as required

  • Perform and document quality checks required by work instructions.

  • Maintain a clean and orderly work center and adhere to all GMP and Regulatory Guidelines

  • Assist and train fellow co-workers and temporary employees

  • Proactively identify and resolve safety and ergonomic concerns for their line

  • Address or report any necessary safety related issues or concerns

  • Ensure accuracy of components, both quantity and quality to start job.

  • Complete production paperwork as required

  • Responsible and accountable for the execution of SAP transactions and related processes on the line

  • Verify, monitor, and document line efficiency goals for each job as assigned

  • Assist in the monitoring and reporting of all material usage

  • Perform other duties as assigned

INSTRUMENTS/MACHINES USED:

Personal Computers, RF Gun, Calculator, Scale, Hand Jack, Label Printer, Case Sealer, Tape Machine

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Must be able to read, write and understand English

  • Proficient computer skills and strong math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages, averages)

  • Must have strong communication, problem solving skills and multi-tasking skills

  • Physical effort – ability to lift up to 35 lbs

  • PMHE License as required

  • 1 years of manufacturing experience preferred; Process Set-Up Attendant or Quality Auditor experience preferred

  • Must be detail oriented

  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills

  • May be required to work on different shifts and at other ELC local facilities
