The Research Scientist of Clinical Innovation Research is responsible research-related to imaging and clinical bio-instrumental measurements, focusing on the development and evaluation of first-of-kind algorithms, prototypes and protocols for extracting information that can lead to new understandings of skin benefits and new claims.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop algorithms to facilitate image analyses
Conduct Proof-of-Concept internal and external clinical research on human volunteers to Research relevant biological, physiological and physical properties of the skin and to demonstrate the in vivo efficacy of cosmetic ingredients or/and formulations
Help develop novel new imaging or bio-instrumental methods that can provide new insights and new claims
Collaborate with Claims and R&D Technology Innovation groups in translational research for the evaluation of new technologies and claims
Advise basic science teams on relevant causes for skin conditions based on skin measurement research
Undergraduate or Graduate degree in science/engineering
2-5 years relatable experience
Knowledge of some imaging technologies (MatLab, ImagePro Plus, Phython, etc.).
Must be detailed orientated and methodical in research approaches and data analytic techniques, and have a basic understanding of statistical analysis.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
