The Analyst role is responsible for supporting projects related to the Strategic Sourcing and category management from conception to implementation.
The Sourcing Analyst must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to manage activities across multiple projects. The candidate must be well organized, have the ability to work independently, be resourceful and inquisitive, be able to plan and make decisions quickly, and solve problems based on factual information and innovative solutions. Being a quick learner to become comfortable and savvy with Project Management is a must.
Strategic Sourcing and Category management:
Create and maintain executive reports for Direct and Indirect categories including identified and realized savings as well as long and short term engagement planning.
Create support materials for all Strategy Validation meetings with Program Managers (monthly), Steering Committee (every other month) and Executive Sponsors (Quarterly)
Participate in creating/refreshing sourcing strategy models and templates
Assuring that 90% of spend is updated and managed strategically.
Analyze spend for all categories
Support category managers with data cleansing and working with other functional areas to resolve discrepancies in the data
Manage template for all strategic categories including category profiles, category compass, strategic priorities, supply base gap analysis, supplier segmentation, supplier allocation guidelines, and intervention opportunities.
Develop strong relationships and communications within Procurement organization and Supplier community to drive GSR strategic initiatives. Collaborate with category managers and other Analysts for optimal results and growth within the Procurement Organization.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
Strong analytical skills
Strong Computer Skills in Excel, Word, Power Point.
Excellent data management/analysis skills.
SAP experience preferred and/or ERP system
Previous work experience in Management Consulting and/or Procurement-related field preferred
