This role will support the Jo Malone London Online Team in helping to achieve online sales targets. In this role you will get exposure to many facets of Ecommerce including marketing, site merchandising, Quality Assurance (QA), design, etc. Candidate should be highly organized, creative, comfortable with data entry, excel and QA. Excellent communication skills & strong attention to detail is also a must. A passion for online and the beauty/luxury industries is a must.

The E-commerce Assistant Manager will support the E-commerce Manager and Executive Director for Jo Malone London Online while working very closely with the following teams: ELC Online Production, Global Jo Malone London, Marketing, Creative and Customer Service.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Understand business goals, support project deliverables and timelines

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, monitor statuses, troubleshoot obstacles/site issues, and communicate to stakeholders

  • Collaborate with marketing, global partners, designers, technical developers and QA team to develop, launch and maintain brand site

  • Maintain both US and CA websites, refreshes and related marketing across channels

Site Maintenance, Merchandising & Development:

  • Supports site maintenance; works with production on refreshes, including QA for US and CA websites.

  • Supports site enhancements; document business requirements; facilitate timely & correct implementation; identifies & resolves bugs

  • Partner with Customer Service to ensure ongoing communication of site elements, functionality, and content. Address issues as they arise.

  • Collaborate with teams on development of new programs to support online and offline, including omni-channel initiatives.

  • Lead the data entry into product database and maintain product catalog

  • Support inventory monitoring & optimizing sell thru of products and product merchandizing across the site

  • Maintain on-site search and related optimizations; Maintain Boutique Finder database

  • Marketing & Promotions:

  • Manage set up of offer codes and testing for all promotional campaigns

  • Management of promotional samples: help monitor sample inventory and sample set up in database

  • Manage updates to all ongoing and future promotions in promotional calendars

  • Point person for Customer Service team with regards to customer issues/comments, communicating calendar or promotion updates

  • Manage all kitting requests of online sets and set up of SKUs in product database

  • Manage email marketing calendar, and implementation with email vendor. Support QA of email tests.

  • Support paid marketing and social marketing promotions, creative and overall communications with the agency and key brand counterparts

  • Support affiliate marketing channel in the planning and programming of all offers and channel optimizations

  • Provide marketing calendar support and coordinate with global team to ensure assets are delivered on time, and include all requests.

  • Track sales with team and ensure that planned marketing programs are enough to support sales targets.

  • Analytics / Reporting

  • Provides thoughtful analysis through post mortems of marketing, promotion and site development initiatives

  • Provides reporting on new product sell thru, offer code performance, email analysis and ad hoc metrics and insights as needed

  • Helps streamline and build reporting templates

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 4 Years of Experience (with an Ecommerce or Online Marketing background preferred but not required)

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of site analytics tools (Adobe and Google Analytics) or content management tools (CMS) is a plus

  • Detail oriented while able to see big picture. Ability to multi-task with appreciation for deadline-driven environment, keeping projects on track.

  • Strong organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Positive committed attitude. Must be a brand advocate and team player. Strong interest in the beauty and luxury industry.
