The Director drives the

strategic development of the marketing plans for North America and is responsible

for the development of the Sell-In and Retail/In-store needs, and Consumer



NorthAmerica Strategy & Development

  • Lead the yearly strategic planning for the brandportfolio and guide the North America Marketing Team through the planningand development process

  • Define the US, Canada brand and Retailer AccountStrategy and identify key NA needs to execute

  • Plan Sell-in and Sell-thru needs in partnershipwith Global Creative, Global Marketing, Trade Marketing and ConsumerMarketing

  • Oversee Omnichannel Retail programming to driveyearly planning process and align marketing strategy

  • Maximize Marketing Promotional spend and achievefinancial targets in partnership with Finance

  • Manage brand marketing team by setting priorities,managing workflow, developing talent and supporting the Executive Director


  • Lead the development timeline and planning forSell-in Tools and In Store needs in partnership with Global Creative, GlobalMarketing, Trade Marketing and Account Management. Align the team andoversee the process

  • Plan NA saleable and nonsaleable needs incollaboration with Global Marketing and GBSC. Manage developmenttimelines, budget, forecasts and team communication of updates

  • Partnerin development of the NA Brand Media Briefs in collaboration with the ConsumerEngagement team

  • PrioritizeRetail Omnichannel key features, assets, copy needs for print and digitalfeatures

  • ManageMarketing Promotional budgets to meet monthly submissions and year-end accrualstargets in collaboration with Finance. Update A & P decks

  • Reviewweekly saleable and non-saleable forecasts submissions and monthly rollingupdates

  • Presentquarterly brand analysis by account to identify trends and opportunities forthe ADF portfolio using Data Warehouse, NPD and other available data

  • Reviewall Co-op Advertising/ Passport Reports and oversee budget

  • Driveand execute all Retailer meeting presentation needs

  • Conducton-going competitive analysis for promotional programs, identify trends, recommendpromotional mix and pricing in partnership with the Business Analyst

  • Manage,coach, develop and provide direction to the Manager and Marketing AssistantManager



  • 8years related experience. Bachelor degreeis required. MBA is a plus

  • Highlyorganized and detail oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple projectssimultaneously

  • Mustbe a self-starter with project management skills and a proactive approach toensure all deliverables

  • Stronganalytical skills combined with a high level of creativity

  • Mustpossess excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel andPowerPoint
