Director,NA Retailer.com Sales
NA Director of Retailer.com Sales will support the ELC brand portfolio in
managing and driving the sales across a group of retail.com partners in North
America & Canada. This role will work alongside the Brand
E-Commerce/Retailer teams and NA Marketing team to support and deliver the
sales targets and new business initiatives. This role will also contribute and
participate in key account brand retail strategy and planning meetings,
exploring and leading seasonal online marketing program opportunities, evaluating/negotiating
co-op deals (as needed), while guiding brands with best practice E-commerce
principles across retail accounts for the channel. This role reports to Executive
Director, North America Retailer.com Sales.
Drive retailer.com business toachieve channel-specific fiscal sales goals aspart of the greater total retailer account sales goals. Monitor andtrack retailer.com business to identify individual accounts’ monthly salestargets, addressing business needs and planning as needed to meet salesgoals.
Represente/m commerce channel in cross functional meetings to ensure an aligned andintegrated omni-channel consumer experience across the account.
Support promotional activity,merchandising strategy, in-store program adaptation, seasonal planning, onlineco-op programs and sampling etc. for retail partners
Help facilitate ELC Onlinemeetings with all brands to cascade account updates, business trends andnew initiatives within retail accounts.
Lead process& support for new “big” launches, partnering with accounts to securethe best possible online marketing support and merchandising to achievemaximum launch exposure.
Develop seasonalonline marketing plans/calendars for brands to use with retail partners tosecure placements and online marketing support.
Lead contact toescalate and communicate portfolio wide retailer.com issues with NorthAmerica Partners.
Play role intop-to-top retailer meetings, summarizing all financial and channel salesfigures (incl: YTD sales, penetration online sales %’s to total, brand highlights,big wins/successes, buyer trends and new program initiatives)
Identify key“big” initiatives for retailer.com sites to build overall portfoliostrength and competitive advantages.
and Strategic Program Development:
Assist brand andNA teams providing direction on media management and evaluation; guidingteams with media conversation between retailers, sharing and ensuring ELCmedia best practices are followed and further negotiating on rates andmedia types offered.
Lead andestablish analytics on performance marketing activities - main mediaformats (including email, digital ad buys, re-messaging, social etc.)
Ensure brandteams routinely conduct final user testing and quality assurance processeson all new retailer pages, applications, e-mails, offers and new productsto ensure accuracy, browser compatibility and high quality user experienceon all ELC brand and retailer programs.
Abilityto evaluate media performance and A&P effectiveness to optimize futuremarketing programs.
Routinely leadQA of retail partner sites for competitive programming or new features onretailer sites, ensuring ELC portfolio is included and activelyparticipating where applicable.
Suggest and leadpartner site improvements and efficiencies, sharing best practices asneeded to improve the retailer.com site environment and elevate the ELCportfolio.
Work with retailpartners to define and obtain digital marketing reporting analytics.
8years of experience.Must have strong retail background and working knowledge of multi-channelbusinesses and driving omni-channel sales (incl; web, mobile, etc)
MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Detailoriented and ability to multi-task.Appreciation for a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Aptitudefor working with Internet tools (i.e. web-based reports, databases andvarious multimedia technologies).
Excellentverbal and written communication skills.
Mustbe a brand advocate and cross functional team player.
