Jo Malone London Global Communications // Coordinator Roles & Responsibilities

The Coordinator, Global Communications, NA works closely with the Manager and Executive Director of Jo Malone London to develop and execute the brand’s PR strategies, launches and activations in North America. This role serves as an anchor to the team and provides essential support to all facets of programming. This person will interface with the beauty media in print, television and online, with full responsibility in media reporting and fulfillment and support of all press events and product launches.

  • Media/Influencer Relations

oPlay key role in development of pitches to digital media

oServe as day-to-day contact for digital outlets for proactive and reactive pitching

oMaintain blogger relations and manage relationship with Fohr Card

oFact check, correspond, etc. with print publications

oHelp identify relevant and like-minded tastemakers/influencers for potential brand collaborations and partnerships

  • Events & Mailers – Assist with planning and execution of all North America events and mailers

oProduct launch events

oTastemaker dinners

oGlobal press trips

oIn-store events

oNew product and year-round gifting mailers

  • Measurement

oManage press coverage grid

oManage awards tracker

oCompile and send monthly PR highlights alert

  • Budget

oReconcile & pull receipts for the receipt reports

oManage all POs and invoicing (create POs, track invoices & payments, etc.)

oNew vendor set up

  • Forecasting & Press Samples

oUpdate forecasting documents

oTrack forecasts and join production status calls

oLiaise and place orders with vendors

  • Product

oManage product closet/samples inventory

oPlace product orders and manage tracking

oIn charge of send-outs/managing intern to assist whenever possible

  • Canada

oManage relationship with Canadian PR contact

  • Marketing grid

oWork with NA marketing team to update master JML marketing grid


-Education: Bachelors Degree Required

-Experience: 1 year of experience required

-Travel Time Required: 5%

The position requires one year previous public relations/communications experience. Must be organized, extremely detail-oriented, efficient, resourceful and able to prioritize multiple projects within set deadlines. Excellent writing and communications skills. Creative, proactive, solution-focused thinker. Outgoing, positive, helpful nature with ability to form relationships with peers in other departments
