Provide input and assistance to the global category lead to develop and execute category strategies that best support the company's objectives for quality, innovation, service and cost. These strategies include supplier management, contract management, and contract negotiations for first time and ongoing business.

  • Support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for assigned commodities to achieve short and long-term savings targets, working closely with related internal departments (i.e. R&D, Packaging, Marketing) to ensure that GSR commitments meet all internal requirements.

  • Work collaboratively throughout the supply chain to drive cost, quality and supply improvements through supplier management, harmonization and negotiations for assigned commodities; represent regional supply chain requirements as part of the sourcing strategy

  • Support the development and execution of resourcing and cross brand VA projects

  • Responsible for the overall strategic supplier relationship for suppliers within respective region to ensure a collaborative working relationship throughout the Supply Chain

  • Assist in Supplier negotiations, manage competitive bid process and required sourcing analysis to ensure best overall cost position for the Organization for assigned commodities

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of regional supply base, an understanding of industry best practices and technology trends and provide input to global category team and business partners

  • Support the Supplier and Commodity Financial risk strategy within assigned commodities

  • Utilize the tools, and processes to optimize sourcing, supplier activities and efficiencies. Work collaboratively with team members to prioritize and drive implementation

  • Provide support for the budget process across Brands for assigned commodities

  • In collaboration with the innovation groups, evaluate supplier capabilities and establish sources for new technologies and markets as dictated by business requirements


Bachelor's degree

Local travel-NYC & LI 10-20%

SAP or similar Supply Chain experience preferred

Must be a fact based decision maker, pragmatic, resourceful, and proactive

Must possess strong analytical skills
