This position is responsible for helping to drive the Corporate Marketing Analytics initiatives in the company, including A&P ROI Modeling, CRM Analytics, Paid Digital Media Analytics, etc., working alongside the Executive Director of Corporate Marketing Analytics in charge of A&P ROI Modeling. The position is the main day-to-day driver of the ROI Modeling engagement and custom marketing analytics. The position works closely with ELC's internal clients, external data providers, as well as external modeling vendors to provide data, analytics, and insights to drive usage within the organization. The position over time may expand into different analytic practices, such as price elasticity measurement, optimization, and other modeling practices to be developed over time. The position establishes high visibility and trust throughout the organization at all levels.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • A&P ROI Modeling Support: Manage the modeling engagement with the selected external MMM vendor. Be the process owner through all phases of the project. Work closely with the Executive Director to collect modeling data, review the modeling process, and output. Work with the vendor and the A&P ROI Modeling team to prepare the analysis of findings and recommendations and to drive usage within the organization.

  • CRM Analytics: Lead the engagement with the Regional CRM teams. Work closely with the Regional CRM teams to provide support to Regions on analytics related to CRM. Facilitate communication across all regions to collect insights and analyze data gathered from regions. Compile learnings and share insights and best practices with the Global teams.

oDeliver Top 10 Recruitment & Retention Product Ranking reports across major brands and key affiliates. Socialize with global and regional brand heads directly and via Regional Corporate CRM leads. Develop roadmap how to further automate and scale reporting for faster decision making. Evolve reporting (e.g., specific views or roll ups of the data) per feedback from brand stakeholders.

oOperationalize Store and Consultant scorecard reporting (CL UK pilot); Drive adoption, usage and gathering of use cases. Explore a ‘light’ version expansion to APAC & NA.

  • Paid Digital Media Analytics: Develop, update, and maintain simulation tools with focus on paid digital media. Synthesize data from multiple sources to provide findings, insights, and recommendations. Work with current agencies & data vendors to improve existing service offerings, establish the frequency and the timeline for data delivery.

  • Ad-hoc Analyses including Custom Analytics & Market Intelligence: Support ELC through ad-hoc analyses around CRM data, sales performance, measurement, share, ROI, and other business questions. Partner with internal customers and collaborate with other Corporate Marketing teams as needed to assist in translating learnings to PowerPoint with charts, insights, and actionable items.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing, Economics, or Statistics

Work Experience/ Background Characteristics

  • 3-5 years working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the FMCG, Cosmetic or Retail industries and with regional exposure or consulting

  • Understanding of and exposure to developing, running and interpreting marketing mix models at a vendor or client preferred.

  • Individual must have a passion for data and be able to interpret and educate users and clients for maximum understanding and application to the business strategy.

  • Strong interest in Social Media/Digital Marketing preferred.

  • Strong hands on analytical/technical experience, with proficiency in Excel/PPT. Experience with statistical software such as SPSS and/or SAS a plus.

  • Client focused mindset with the ability to build relationships of respect and integrate to various cultures, including exceptional listening skills and ability to ask the right questions and design and deliver correct data models.
