Principle Objectives:

  • To develop global education programs andtools for both in-store and seminar, which inspire and empower Consultants tomeet the needs of business and drive sales results.

  • To create custom-fit programs, wherenecessary, that meet the needs of the individual market. Strategize with the GlobalEducation Development team and field to determine the education program needs forevery region.

Position Summary:


is responsible for working closely with Global Education Development team,

cross-functional partners and the field to develop relevant, best-in-class

education and tools for Consultants that supports the Simply Amazing Experience

and drives sales. Responsible for working with the Executive Director, Global

Education Development to develop innovative tools that help to build sales and

inspire Consultants and manage internal education opportunities. The position

requires a high level of creative and writing talent and a deep understanding

of the point of sale experience.


Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage global point of sale programs and toolsto support the Simply Amazing Education experience. Collaborate with ExecutiveDirector, Global Education Development in the development of seasonal and corecurriculum.
  • Workclosely with Education Development colleagues, Product Development,Marketing, Digital, and Global Communications teams to ensure synergy withbrand initiatives. Research informationrelevant to key strategic brand initiatives in order to develop the mostrelevant Education tools and programs.

  • Developeducation programs for various methods of delivery includinginstructor–led classroom, in-store workshops, and at-counter coaching thatare results-driven, creative, innovative, and user-friendly.

  • Developtools to enhance Consultant learning both in seminar and in-store.

  • Regularlytest key concepts in-store and share results with Education Developmentand Senior Education leaders to ensure consistent incorporation ofselected initiatives into relevant programs and curriculum.

  • Responsiblefor measuring the impact of the programs through sales results and ensureall programs/tools drive a greater return on invested capital and makerecommendations for other opportunities to further accomplish thisobjective to Executive Director, Global Education Development andDirector, Global Education Development.

  1. Manage the New Hire Orientation program in conjunction withHuman Resources as well as any internal Education needs for Clinique officeemployees to create a deeper understanding of the at-counter experience.
  • Workclosely with Human Resources contact to provide a Simply AmazingOrientation experience for New York office employees.

  • Responsiblefor designing and executing Education to prepare New York office employeesfor in-store experiences such as Happy Day, as well as seeking additionalopportunities to create deeper understanding of the at-counter experiencefor office staff.

  1. Manage the Global Education existing library of programs andtools to ensure they are relevant and consistent with the current productline-up and messages.
  • Develop strong relationships andpartnerships with cross-functional teams and work with Executive Director,Global Education Development, to ensure core curriculum and tools consistentlymeet the business needs of the brand and markets.

  • Work within Global Education toolsbudget to provide updated InDesign and Word files seasonally.

  • Look fornew and unique ways to strengthen and streamline all processes as they relateto project management.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Work interdependentlywith the Education Development Team in creating complimentary programs.

  • Communicate consistently with theSenior Education leadership and field team.

  • Work in-store to ensure programs meet businessand Consultant skill needs and circumstances.



The candidate

should have at least 5 years of related experience in the cosmetic industry,

retail sales, education development/research or team training. Requires a

strategic and resourceful thinker with a creative writing talent. Point of sale

experience is critical and Clinique point of sale experience is preferred. Candidates

must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Outstanding

computer skills are a must, including MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint and competency

in InDesign is a plus. A college degree is preferred.
