Manager, National Key Accounts Specialty
NorthAmerica Marketing :
InPartnership with the Director of Key Accounts, drive strategy, planning andexecution of marketing programs for brick & mortar specialty retailers (primarilyUlta) in North America.
Closelypartner with retailer.com to develop 360 plans in marketing, exposure andsampling to drive total sales.
Supportthe Sales Team in driving tailored marketing strategies and exclusive marketingprograms for their retail accounts.
Manageall aspects of program development from concept to final program delivery.Develop and foster a strong 18 month rolling calendar and 3-year strategic plan(primarily Ulta).
Inpartnership with Director of Key Accounts, Develop marketing launchcalendars/plans for major retailers: Primarily Ulta
Liaisewith Global Marketing and support groups (Creative, Education) to ensure mostcost effective tools (products, samples, support elements) are created for theNA market.
Spearhead& lead the creation and execution of all exclusive marketing programs tailoringto each retail account, such as special retail events, exclusive productlaunches, or exclusive marketing programs partnering with NA Marketing whereapplicable. Prepare creative briefs for all marketing-related collateral (shelfstrips, brochures, counter cards, end cap and merchandising pieces) within thecost targets.
Effectivelyanalyze and prepare programs and develop recommendations accordingly - annualand seasonal forecasts for existing and new product and kit launches.
Assistthe Director of Key Accounts in managing & tracking sales, provide retailerrelevant monthly sales commentary.
Liaisewith Inventory Planner to provide updates to forecast on a monthly basis.Provide forecasts for newness as required.
Monitormajor retailers’ WOS on hand, returns, and “red flag” any overages for futureP.O.’s to Accounts Receivable.
Liaisewith Buyers as needed. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with retailers,primarily Ulta.
Assistin the preparation, content and delivery of marketing presentation duringsemi-annual meetings with Sephora, SiJCP, and Ulta.
NorthAmerica Sales :
- Towork with field Sales Team to achieve and/or exceed the company sales andprofit plan.
Assistin the development of strategies for brick and mortar retailers, primarily Ulta.
Maintainrelationships with retail partners assess their strengths and weaknesses anddevelop business strategies accordingly.
Createand maintain retailer reports for analysis of business:
Analyzeretail sales by account, by door, weekly, monthly and quarterly.
Reviewcategory and product sales monthly and quarterly.
Create,implement and drive strategies that will meet and exceed fiscal retail plans.
Ongoingcommunication and feedback with Director of Key Accounts & North America VP/GM,NA Marketing and peers. Discuss and agree on brand objectives and strategies toensure overall consistency.
NorthAmerica Education :
- Developeducation programs for retailers which motivate and inspire sales associateswhile meeting the needs of the business and delivering sales results.
Partnerwith NA Education to develop retailer relevant training materials.
Partnerwith NA Education to produce and execute retailer educational videos inconjunction with Field Sales & Education Lead.
Manageretailer gratis programs including creation of retailer specific trainingmaterials and learning games.
Position requires 5 years of related experience with proven success
BA required, MBA preferred
Specialty-Multi Retail Channel Experience required (ideally Ulta experience)
Solid understanding of primary levers and components to successfully and components to successful account management
Strategic thinking capabilities able to lay out a cohesive and clearly articulated strategy to drive the global brand
Excellent presentation and communication skills
