Estee Lauder Corporation is seeking an ambitious and highly analytical financial leader to join the Global Online Finance team and the Global Omnichannel team. This role reports to both Executive Director of Global Online Finance and Vice President of Omnichannel. Manager will lead business case evaluation for all Omnichannel projects, including loyalty programs, along with month close, forecasting, budgeting and long range planning for the Omnichannel team. Specifically, for loyalty programs, this role will serve as the primary finance liaison with global/affiliate brands and technical accounting team to ensure programs are vetted and approved.

  • Serve as primary day-to-day finance contact for VP of Global Omnichannel

  • Manage the business and accounting case evaluation of omnichannel loyalty programs; serve as primary liaison with global/affiliate brands and technical accounting team to ensure programs are vetted and approved

  • Update loyalty dashboard on a monthly basis; ensure month close for NA loyalty programs are accounted appropriately; work with brand teams to refresh loyalty forecast accordingly each month

  • Maintain documentation on best practices for loyalty finance and accounting; distribute guidelines to global/affiliate brands and work with Corporate Accounting to enforce proper accounting

  • Own the month close process for Omnichannel, including preparing/approving accruals and journal entries, reviewing P&L and balance sheet to ensure data accuracy, issuing monthly variance analyses, and reviewing business performance with VP of Omnichannel

  • Own the monthly estimate process for Omnichannel, including working with business partners to gather latest assumptions on expenses, evaluate impact of business trends on overall forecast, explaining and preparing variance analyses, identifying key risks and opportunities, and preparing estimate package for submission

  • Manage the annual budget process and long range planning process for Omnichannel, including partnering with VP of Omnichannel to deliver bottom-up budget and top-down long range plan to meet targets, managing iterations and variance analyses, assisting with seeking alignment with global/affiliate brands in planning process, and preparing templates and presentations required for budget and long range plan

  • Manage the capital budget process, including budget, forecast and ongoing acquisition request process

  • Serve as key financial lead for ad-hoc strategic projects, including developing scenario planning, breakeven analyses, building business cases and ROI analyses, measuring post-mortem impact of projects and initiatives, etc.

  • Challenge the status quo and seek continuous incremental improvements on existing processes to help drive more efficient and accurate financial reporting and analysis


  • Position requires 4 years of corporate finance or banking experience; loyalty finance/accounting experience is preferred

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or economics is preferred

  • MBA in finance or business management is preferred
