As a reflection of our corporate philosophy and learning methodology, The Estée Lauder Companies' Presidential Management Associate Program is an intensive two year rotational program specially designed for MBA graduates. This program integrates customized professional rotations, continuous leadership development, hands-on practical experience, group networking opportunities, and strategic thinking initiatives to optimize participants' learning and career growth at The Estée Lauder Companies.

Consistent with our learning organization approach, our program offers a series of rotational tracks where participants will gain extensive Company and industry insights. Each rotation explores new areas of the business that apply both professional and academic experience. The program stresses continuous development, leadership, excellence, transparency, collaboration and agility. Our goal is to attract, retain, and develop the best future leaders of the organization.

Consumer Engagement_Social Media

The Consumer Engagement_Social Media track focuses on building and executing consumer, product, social media, and digital initiatives. The PMA will gain exposure to senior executives inside the companies many brands. The PMA will be given challenging projects and have the opportunity to work on cross-functional teams in order to collaborate with Brand Leads and Corporate leaders to achieve the overall Social Media business strategy. The PMA will learn to master the art of conducting business analysis and Competitive Analysis. The PMA may work on interesting responsibilities such as social media content strategy, develop brand awareness, blogging, community participation, engagement strategies, generate inbound traffic and cultivate leads and sales, all aligning to the organizations overall strategic goals.

Finance/Strategy PMA

The Finance/Strategy PMA will learn the financial rules and policies within the organization to include the key behaviors of a strategic business partner to the business leaders of the brands and organization. The finance PMA will gain significant exposure to financial, business and operational executives throughout the organization. This exposure occurs in a variety of ways – daily interaction within the working environment, executive level meetings, while conducting program related presentations.

  • Corporate Treasury

Asia Pacific PMA

The Asia Pacific PMA program focuses on developing capabilities based on the business needs and priorities within the Chinese affiliate, Singapore regional office and Hong Kong regional office. The PMA will start with a rotation in the in the US to gain the global strategic insights needed to prepare for rotations in China, Singapore or Hong Kong. The PMA will gain exposure to global marketing inside one of ELC’s brand with a top focus on the Asia Pacific region.

Human Resources PMA

The Human Resource track promotes a focus on the strategic priorities within the Centers of Excellence in Global Human Resources. The Human Resource PMA will be assigned challenging projects and well-rounded experiences that will provide them the opportunity to be strategic business partners, working with all levels of management.

  • Corporate – Talent Planning & Performance Management

  • MAC – Human Resource Generalist

Global Supply Chain PMA

During the course of the two year rotational program, the GSC PMA will participate in four 6 month rotations in specific areas of Global Supply Chain to include manufacturing, planning, sourcing, and distribution. The PMA will gain exposure to strategic sourcing, tactical purchasing, logistics/traffic management, supplier quality, global planning, and production scheduling.

How the PMA Program Helps Participants Succeed

Support from Leaders

  • A one-on-one relationship with the Program Management Executive Director to ensure a quality experience from recruiting through hiring, rotation assignments and placement

  • A rotation manager to report to who will provide guidance and project deliverables

  • Director (or above) leader in the organization that serves as senior mentor

  • A peer mentor who has participated in the program

  • Informal and formal feedback

Placement at End

Director or Manager Level Placement at the end of the Program based on existing business needs the participant’s evaluations, rate of development, contribution, and p revious work experience.



  • MBA Degree

  • Recommended 5-8 years of professional experience

  • Demonstrated record of achievement

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, motivate and influence others

  • Strong change management and business acumen skills

  • Those authorized to work in the US may have an opportunity to rotate globally based on language capabilities and business needs.

PLEASE NOTE - Our Presidential Management Associate Program offers Global Opportunities based on business needs and work authorization. This is not a guarantee for all participants.

  • Non US citizens have the opportunity to spend 6 months in the NYC Corporate Headquarters and then transfer to a Regional/Affiliate office for the remainder of the Program based on work authorization and business needs.
