The Production Manager for Retail Events will co-lead the production process and creative content for the Eastern United States along with the Director of Event Production & Execution for North America. This role must be incredibly multi-faceted from budget management to business strategy to a strong background in theatrical and show production. They must understand the nature of the M

The Manager of Production must work well in a fast-paced environment, adhere to short timelines, be detail-oriented, and possess strong follow-through on projects that are often with short lead times and multi-faceted.


  • Production Lead & Event Support

  • Production lead on all high-level events

  • Scenic sourcing, strategy, budgeting & execution for all Level A-H, AA & Industry Events – including Grand Openings.

  • Lead negotiator with all venue labor including local stage Unions in Eastern U.S. cities assuring the Company is in compliance with all city and state laws.

  • Lead facilitator of trucking management for high-level events including shipping logistics, budgets & reconciliation.

  • Recruit temporary staffing support for high-level events as required.

  • Maintain relationships with all vendors including venues, hotels, travel & production companies

  • Act as lead manager for all travel logistics for the East including Contract negotiations with preferred hotels & meeting planning as required.

  • Partner with the Event Director and Event Managers to guide for Event Kits, Event Pack-outs, and cost-effective ways of maximizing Brand Impact with a strong ROI for the Company.

  • Logistics orchestration, management and guidance for all event programs in the Eastern US and Retailer Managed Accounts in concert with the Event Director and Event Managers

  • Work with Director and Managers to identify additional event element needs by program for each event

  • Orchestration of Talent Files & Support goods for the East for high-level events (ie Industry)

  • Manage Load-in, Load-out and support to the Director/Market of elevated level event productions

  • General Production Support for all programs

  • Creative Content & Training Development

  • Support the writing and development of all Guidelines and Event Directives with Event Director

  • Support the development of Impact Team Training & Recap Analysis

  • Facilitate trainings and meetings for Impact Team, Retail Managers and In-Store Activities

  • Actively lead the ideation to better our high-level events from a theatrical and technological standpoint to remain strong against the competition and regionally relevant in a highly saturated market (with Director)

  • Creative Execution on development projects for the Director

  • Training Program support development (in partnership with the Director)

  • Department Administration & Director Support

  • Lead reconciliation of all event expenses for core production & high-level [Industry] events; along with budget management for the Director including miscellaneous event expenses and T&E.

  • Lead all Earned Media Value (EMV) Tracking, Recapping & Analysis for the East Department

  • Manage the with collecting and processing recap data as needed for the department, focusing on Industry Reporting

  • #1 Point person to the Director for all Ideation, Development, Training & Creative Content

  • Administration of all Talent Files & Talent Relations on behalf of the department

  • Negotiation of Talent Contracts, Fees & Rates on behalf of the department

  • Reconciliation of high-level invoicing, payments and budget trackers.

  • Creative Request Management for the East including all projects led by the Director.

  • Photo maintenance for high-level events such as Industry (in partnership with the Event Managers)

  • Process all incoming shipments and packages to the East Coast Office in concert with Event Managers.

  • Coordinate all transportation of goods between stores during event production in concert with Event Managers.

  • Interact with all shipping vendors to liaise on current and upcoming shipments for department.

  • Liaise with East Managed Retailer Accounts on Shipping Status for all Event Goods (along with Event Managers)



  • 5 years ofexperience

  • Extensive knowledgeof Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PP, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and strongunderstanding of Internet/web research tools.

  • Must behighly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshopand InDesign

  • Experiencein negotiation and contract management

  • Strongcommunication skills, orally and written.Must possess strong facilitation skills to a group.

  • Backgroundin event production, film production and/or theatrical production.

  • Extremelyorganized

  • Verydetail-oriented

  • Knowledgeablein the theatrical arts, creative arts and logistics of event planning
