The Global Value Creation (GVC) mission is to maximize value creation by enabling transformational projects and ongoing initiatives across brands, regions, and function to deliver cost savings, increased cash flow and to build new capabilities while achieving the company’s financial goals. The team reports to the CFO and EVP of Supply Chain.

The responsibilities of the role include providing financial reporting and analysis on global value creation initiatives and projects including as Returns and Demo/Selling, etc. The position will support the GVC Finance Director to collaborate with the finance leads on the project teams, brands and regions, and to align and validate assumptions. The cadence of reporting includes preparing quarterly reports for Investor Relations and senior management, dashboard for the bi-monthly GVC meetings with senior management, and annual budget for the regions and brands. The position will be a key player in preparing the monthly estimate, quarterly report, annual budget and LRP (long range plan) savings.

The position will support financial analysis from various information sources to uncover new value opportunities. Additional key dimensions of the role will be to enhance our reporting capabilities to improve the tracking of results, and to identify and analyze risks and opportunities.

Knowledge of our financial tools, processes and systems is a must.

Under management of Director, support management of GVC financial reporting (60%):

  • Validate data for quarter results and FY projections, to ensure accuracy of information with supporting analysis, timely delivery, fully integrated with Brands and Regions

  • Identify anomalies and cross-check information to ensure analytical integrity

  • Deliver additional analysis on the key performance drivers to understand gaps to plan and business risks and opportunities

  • Support LRP preparation, notably to establish allocations across brands and regions

Support to GVC team monthly analysis (notably Returns, Demo/Selling Effectiveness) (20%)

Assist with deep dive analysis on key initiatives to identify new savings opportunities across brands and geographies (20%)

The role can be located in New York City, or Melville with some travel to NYC


Accurate, timely reporting of financial performance, savings in the P&L and Balance Sheet for quarterly letter to Investor Relations and bi-monthly GVC meetings

Assess value creation in savings initiatives and across projects for the Global Value Creation team

Detail oriented, able to validate and integrate financial information from multiple sources for analysis and reporting

Understands how to organize and collaborate on financial analysis for the team and senior management

Excellent communication and interaction skills within the GVC team, Corp Finance, SC Finance, and regional finance leads

Knowledge of ELC financial accounting, monthly close, annual budget, and strategic long range planning processes

Strong working knowledge of CPM, BI, Excel, pivot tables
