Bumble and bumble is a fast-growing,
luxury hair care brand located in NYC. It started as an NYC salon and evolved
into a multi-million dollar brand comprised of 2 salons, a product company that
houses a strong in-house creative agency, a direct sales force, and a
university for hairdressers and salon owners.

the craft, culture and commerce of hairdressing.
Position Summary: In this ever evolving
position, the Manager, Social Media role will play a vital role in the
management of Bumble and bumble’s overall social media activities with the key
purpose to tell the brand story and drive brand awareness, engagement, referral
and advocacy. Strong ability to interpret and translate global brand strategies
and equity into programs appropriate for social media is required. The role
will manage the day to day operation of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter,
Snapchat) with direction from VP, with significant input on overall strategy.
Manage overall socialmedia and content calendar for the brand and execute against it, includingdeveloping content concepts from idea to completion. will work with the teamdeveloping social media concepts and content that meet communication goals.
Forge through new ideas, new programs and new waysof communicating with the consumer via compelling yet targeted content toultimately engage them and inspire them to become brand advocates, whileadhering to corporate guidelines and legal requirements; Create engagingcontent across platforms, including researching, writing, editing, andconducting interviews.
Work with brand Global Marketing, Global Communications,and Creative on developing an overarching content strategy acrosssocial/digital platforms, e-commerce, in store, etc.
Proactively engageconsumers online to drive favorable brand conversations. Work with PR team torespond to questions, comments and related opportunities with speed andjudgment.
Serve as a liaison inany social media executions with affiliates world-wide. As part hereof managecommunication of campaigns/programs and help provide guidance to implementlocally.
Stay up-to-date on newsocial media tools and best practices; monitor competitors and other socialmedia leaders to see how they are using them to be the early adopter oftechnologies.
Research and stayahead of digital innovation, fashion and beauty trends.
Generate metricsreports using standardized tools and craft analyses based on the data; assistin developing related recommendations.
Demonstrate 24/7approach to responsibilities.
During fashion week, work with PR team to executeSocial strategy - duties to be shared across department to ensure thatactivities are maximized

Strong working knowledgeof digital media including display, search, social and mobile marketingadvertising
Robust understanding ofthe e-commerce business landscape
Ability to analyze data,summarizing stories and insights for media, websites and social engagement strategies
Strong communicationskills are essential, with the ability to build and maintain a strong rapportwith internal and international teams as well as external vendors and handlesituations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness.
Self-starter and highlymotivated; capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within afast-paced environment
Highly organized and ableto multi-task, whilst maintaining clear and proactive flow of communication andownership of tasks.

Education and Experience:
BA or 4-year college degree required.
5-7 years’ of experience in general communicationswith at least 2 of those in online communications, at a media organization ordigital/print outlet.
Expert in content development, channeloptimization, brand consistency.
Experienced with visual storytelling.
Experienced with social media and contentintegration.
Collaborative working style, with ability to workindependently, as well as with team members at all levels of the Company.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with apassion for and proven history of successful brand storytelling across media.
Must be organized, detail-oriented and able toprioritize multiple projects.
Editorial or commercial successes with measurableresults.
Active engagement in online and social media.
Self-motivated; able to own projects and execute ina timely manner.
Familiarity with analytics and meaningfulmeasurement.
Excellent time management, analytical,decision-making and organizational skills.
Strong project management skills and ability tocreate and execute plans.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook.
