Principal Objective

This role is responsible for all creative strategic, conceptual and execution work in driving the brand’s global image. Primarily this revolves around aligning with the SVP, Global Brand Image, the existing designer branding and direction in the creation, development and execution of all creative assets for the global brand. It includes concepts, packaging development, photo/digital shoots, retouching, video production for internal presentations and projects, web creative for retailer sites], creative department management, as well as all 2D and 3D dimensional design work, including overseeing in-store merchandising, print, digital, store design and promotional materials.


  • Lead, manage, and develop the global TFB Creative team

  • Manage outside agencies and department budget

  • Oversee creation, maintenance and posting of all global brand creative guidelines, image libraries and bibles to ensure global consistency of imagery

  • Collaborate with Global Product Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Product Development and other cross functional partners, the regional teams and Tom Ford International

  • Oversee project management function (creative operations, production, deployment)


  • 15 years of related experience in print, packaging, 2D and 3D design in the luxury market; significant experience having led and developed a team of 10

  • Proven leadership in industry leading conceptual thinking, creativity and innovation; ability to influence others

  • Understanding and appreciation that Licensor (Tom Ford) is the brand voice and creator

  • Passionate coach; ability to inspire and maximize team engagement and potential

  • Proven project management experience; ability to multi-task and plan effectively

  • Highly collaborative; open to change and experimentation

  • Clear communicator; able to work easily across functional barriers and geographic borders

  • Global mindset; experience working in an international capacity

  • Established senior design manager with creative sensibility and vision specific to the TFB brand, and an exceptional portfolio of brand-building work

  • Practiced negotiation skills

  • Creativity, strategic vision and passion for the brand

  • Possesses a network of contacts at a senior level in the design and creative industries

  • Experienced Mac user and have an excellent knowledge of design software
