Assistant Manager, Art Production, MAC
This position is responsible for supporting the Art Producer in handling all photo shoot and video productions from initial concept and pre-production through post-production and the sourcing of all talent, photographers, illustrators, and hair, makeup, and fashion stylists.
In addition, the role is responsible for working with Finance and the Executive Director, Art Production in organizing the budgets and assessments of financials.
Other responsibilities include supporting the Executive Director in implementing policies and procedures including generating legal contracts for all talent, photographers, directors and illustrators. This entails securing all contracts, copyrights, usage rights for photography/video and model/talent selections and music clearances.
Alongside Executive Director, Art Production, research and source new and existing talent which includes: photographers, directors, illustrators, hair, makeup, stylists and models.
Liaise with Creative Department and International and Domestic Creative Executive Directors during all productions and shoots on (but not limited to) call sheet information, product and shoot related material.
Support Executive Director in researching and targeting strategic business opportunities and partnerships with designers, artists, fashion brands, etc. This includes, processing of advance requests, invoices, organize all job jackets, facilitate contracts and release signatures, travel for shoots, creates itineraries and researches new photographers and video artists when needed.
Coordinate contracts for all photo shoots, negotiating all photographers, hair and makeup talent, stylists, directors and models.
Coordinate all model castings.
Work with Executive Director, Art Production and Marketing to negotiate and obtain usage rights for all images, still and video.
Support the management of entire budget for creative department by managing the invoice process and ensuring the budget is up to date.
Communicate with Executive Director on budget management.
Manage post production and retouching for beauty and still life photography, including creation of timelines and management of final deliverables.
BA or BFA preferred
Ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines
Superior organizational skills
Understanding of current talent, trends and industry fees and usage
Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
3-4 years’ work related experience
