POSITION SUMMARY: The primary role of the Assistant Manager of Visual Merchandising, Specialty Multi is to oversee the Planning, Communication and Execution of Merchandising Planograms, Calendars, Monthly guidelines, installations, and overall project management of all Specialty/Multi and Open Service stores ensuring consistency and high visual standards that are representative of the brand image.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop merchandising layouts, execute, and management of all in store schematics for displayers and gondolas.

  • Manage forecasting and all visual merchandising requests of open sell fixtures for all channels (Specialty/Multi/Partner stores, FSS)

  • Communicate on-counter dates and scheduling for all merchandising tools and updates. Work with key departments to ensure consistent and time sensitive information is deployed to the stores and manage any issues as they arise.

  • Manage all visual launch and back out calendars to ensure deadlines are met within each channel.

  • Communicate regularly and maintain positive working relationships with Visual Merchandising department, Field Management and Retailers to ensure excellence in execution for all new doors and updates of existing doors.

  • Coordinate with N. American Sales, AT&D, Marketing and Visual Merchandising on recommendations for enhancing sell thru and execution of new launches and basic business¬¬.

  • Assist in the implementation of Retail and Special Events when necessary

  • Develop and conduct regional training sessions to uphold the highest Visual Merchandising standards of all new and existing Visual Merchandising initiatives.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA or BFA preferred

  • 3 Years experience required in retail merchandising and/or project management of Specialty Multi or other Multi branded Retail environments.

  • Strong knowledge of computer software including, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Outlook,

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to work with colleagues at various levels.

  • Must be extremely detail and deadline oriented in a fast paced environment

  • Understanding of current fashion/retail trends
