The Global Creative Design Director is responsible for the conception and art direction of ADF Global programs while incorporating brand strategy. Partnering with the VP and Executive Design Director this individual will concept 2D and digital designs for worldwide advertising and promotional collateral programs from inception through completion for Global ADF brands.

Collaboratively manages strategies enhancing all the ADF brands while overseeing execution of 2D and digital development. Communicates effectively the creative objectives of projects and partner with various departments and functions including Senior Level Management.


  • Ensure a high level of excellence in all creative work produced and executed by the department so it is consistent, cohesive, meets Marketing objectives, and is within budget and timeframe. Interface with Global Marketing, Product Development, Corp Purchasing and possibly Packaging Engineering to coordinate creative development

  • Lead 2D Design team in generating innovative 2D and digital designs according to the brand strategy and launch calendars. Oversee the design and production of all 2D designs; includes concept presentations, all printed materials, advertising and digital assets, managing of mechanicals and attending pressruns

  • Work closely with Global Marketing coordinating 2d creative development, setting agendas and review status

  • Foster idea sharing and cross-communications across Creative, Marketing, Packaging and Product Development to generate innovative designs according to brand strategy and launch calendars

  • Attend/Manage photo shoots to ensure accurate execution of material development and promotional materials

  • Travel as needed for sourcing inspiration, approving production standards and final press runs

  • Work closely with licensors and agencies and attend regular status meetings with various outside groups

  • Oversee sourcing and utilize outside vendors (stylists, photographers, agencies) and designers for new innovative creative solutions.

  • Oversee retouching photo work, and all other printed materials from various departments that are utilized in the field

  • Manage operating budget, tracking and timing of programs, billing records and related paperwork in an efficient manner

  • Partners closely with consumer engagement team to develop digital assets and strategy with all ADF brands

  • Collaborate with copywriters and support designers in the development of digital elements for Global programs including website interfaces and graphics, emails, online ads including display banners and paid social media units, animations and video for all ADF brands



  • Bachelor’s degree in a design related field

  • 8 relevant experience within an interactive agency or similar role as a digital designer within an in-house creative team

  • Leadership ability includes leading self and team

  • Self-motivated, innovative and able to multi-task under pressure in fast paced environment

  • Needs to be highly organized, timely and fiscally responsible

  • Superior project management skills

  • Understanding of current fashion trends

  • 360 degree brand approach - brand development, 2D, packaging and digital

  • Proficient in use of MAC environment with technical knowledge of Illustrator, In Design and Photoshop a must
