  • Driving the adoption and execution of Agile methods and Scrum frameworks across the ELC Solutions Delivery Organization. Increasing the maturity level of Agile teams across the globe.

  • Guiding the team on self organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks

  • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization

  • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.

  • Challenging the Agile teams to stretch themselves in their roles and build higher performing teams

  • Participating in the talent management process and facilitates/leads the training development programs

  • Utilizing broader experiences and adoption best practices, the Scrum Coach helps the organization and Scrum Teams adopt and progress in a feasible way.

  • Progressing an organization's Scrum Maturity much faster and more efficiently than someone with more limited experiences or someone who is playing solely a Scrum Master role.

  • Helping Scrum Teams deliver higher quality, higher value software faster, by maximizing the benefits received from Scrum

  • The ELC Scrum Coach is a global solutions delivery team role. Having performed successfully on multiple agile projects playing all three of the main roles, the Scrum coach is effective developing and advising all members of the agile team. The Scrum Coach brings best practices about Scrum adoption to the organization.

  • The role is responsible for setting the training and rollout program as well as identifying the internal resources who will be trained and developed in advanced Agile methods and certification. The role identifies future Scrum Masters.

  • In partnership with the Digital Platform lead, the Scrum Master will also identify and select which projects will be performed using Agile methodology

Minimum Education Level: College degree

Licenses or Certifications: ITIL preferred, Agile: e.g. PMI-ACP, CSP, CSM

  • Applications leader with strong leader skills. Must have experience playing the Scrum Coach role for at least two years with in software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.

  • Excellent communication, teaching and mentoring skills

  • Drives Agile adoption through various situational skills and techniques – is motivational

  • Previous experience as a team lead

  • Experience of having worked for a similar large scale organization in a highly matrix managed environment

  • Experience of working with multiple third party vendors

  • Experience in app development and management
