The Solutions Delivery Lead for Digital, oversees the development of the back-end server side and front-end user interface solutions that eventually integrates into all ELC mobile devices including smart phones, tablet and Web applications.
The lead will think beyond available technology and functionality and ensure our teams are developing applications that focus on end-user workflows and usability.
They should have sound object-orientated design principals, but they also know how to surface problems early throughout the entire lifecycle.
The role will oversee both internal teams and have accountability for delivery from our strategic partners.
Coordinating with business unit heads, service managers/owners to understand business and functional requirements related to end-user experience
Leading the teams who create user-centered designs based on business and functional requirements, user research, market analysis, customer feedback, and usability findings
Developing conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, usage scenarios, navigation maps, and prototypes
Participating in user research and usability testing to help improve the user experience
Developing and designs mobile cross-platform Rich Media Applications using multiple software development kits such as HTML5, Adobe (Flex SDK, Flash SDK, Builder), Google (Android), and Apple (iPhone SDK)
Developing mobile applications on smart phones using programming knowledge from multiple operating systems
Applying Agile development concepts and incorporates end-user feedback into design and prototypes
Designing and developing the front-end UI for mobile applications using Rich Media Application knowledge
Developing the back-end server side scripting needed to interface with the front-end UI
Capturing software defects using bug tracking systems currently in place

Strong leader managing and developing teams proficient in Mobile and Web Development
Excellent verbal and written communication and mentoring skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new information quickly
Able to partner with the technical team to elicit, prioritize, and obviate critical development challenges
Solid, grounded principals in object oriented design and development approaches
Prior experience in designing applications for multiple mobile devices (e.g. Apple iPhone, iPad, Android, etc.)
Programming experience on multiple operating systems (e.g. Palm, Windows Mobile, Brew, Android, Apple, etc.)
Software lifecycle experience and tools that include Bug Tracking and SCM
Deep technical expertise and a good understanding of the underlying business processes and systems
High commitment to meet business needs, service levels, and operational requirements
Experience of having worked for a similar large scale organization in a highly matrix managed environment
Experience of working with multiple third party vendors
Experience in app development and management
