An exciting opportunity has now become available at Estee Lauder Companies for a Demand Planner within our Supply Chain Team, on a 12-month contract role.
The Demand Planner will be responsible for the management and development of the demand planning/forecasting functions, providing the interface between Brands’ Marketing, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain ensuring the demand planning process meets the business objectives and needs. The primary responsibility is to assist in the development and facilitation of an integrated Sales & Operations Planning process, across the business, ensuring data analysis, systems and measures are in place for both quality of demand plans and alignment with Finance plans. You will own the Sales, Inventory& Operations planning process (SIOP).
To be successful in this role you will have the ability to work autonomously; you will develop, recommend and implement new initiatives in regards to systems, procedures and processes. You will be a solid team player as this role will see you interact closely with your immediate team as well as collaborating with brands on marketing calendar plans, adjust short term horizons based on local market intelligence. Your excellent organizational skills, time management and follow up skills will ensure you execute your tasks with success.
This role will require you to be a strong negotiator and problem solver, having a keen eye for detail and precision in formulating demand plans for saleable and promotional products, reconciling demand plans, reviewing of trends and executing of business reports. You will be an excellent communicator, ensuring people at all levels are informed of changes, updates and issues as well as embrace the challenge of presenting your results regularly to small to medium size groups.
Ideally you will be degree qualified (Supply Chain, Business/Finance) and have 3 years’ experience in FMCG or cosmetic industry working in the field of Supply/Demand planning. SAP experiences a strong advantage.
