Job Function

To disassemble, clean and assemble wetted machine parts after the completion of a product run, with the proper use of cleaning agent and sanitizers under the GMP guidelines and department SOPs.


  1. Department Activities - Equipment cleaning and set-up
  • PM- inspection of equipment prior to use, prevent discrepancies.

  • Clean, sanitize equipment as per SOPs

  • Use the proper cleaning agents and sanitize under GMP guidelines and department SOPs.

  • Assemble and disassemble of equipments.

  • Preparing for cleaning and sanitizes for processing within the Health and Safety guidelines and department SOPs.

  1. Special Projects
  • Support department goals and objectives.

  • Perform all assigned duties by supervisor.

  1. Health and Safety (100% - At all times)
  • Proactively identify and resolve safety concerns

  • Observe and conform to all corporate EH&S guidelines and procedures

  • Adhere to established Lockout/Tag out Programs

  • Actively participate and evaluate PSR’s

  • Participate in the establishment of annual EH&S objectives

  1. Housekeeping (100% - At all times)
  • Maintain clean work environment

  • Conform to all ergonomic assessment requirements

  • Actively participate and support the Canadian Operations 5S Program

  • Maintain a clean orderly work area according to GMP guidelines


Skills Required

  • Education: Secondary School or equivalent.

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months in work related experience.

  • Competencies: good mechanical knowledge, knowledge of small tools and light assembly.
