JOB FUNCTION

Resource Planner is responsible to ensure that the expected customer service levels are maintained by effectively managing the available capacity of the assigned resources. Resource Planner must also ensure the identification and communication of customer service impacts as well as upcoming capacity constraints.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet expected customer service levels for products in the portfolio

  • Collaborates well with all internal and external customers to achieve corporate goals

  • Capacity planning in the constrained period

  • Meet expected Net & Absolute Attainment targets

  • Work with Material Planners to ensure material availability

  • Responsible for the management of Planned orders and preparing them to convert to a Process Order in SAP

  • Manage exception messages in SAP and action as required

  • Manages expiring material for in house WIP (Work In Process)

  • Manages quality notifications with the Scheduler

  • Communicating delays and root cause to the Supply Planner

Qualifications

Education :

  • Post-secondary qualifications

  • APICS and CPIM certification an asset.

Experience:

  • Formal qualifications in planning and inventory management and previous planning experience an asset.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of MRP/ERP/SAP systems.

Computer Skills:

  • Sound knowledge and capabilities with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).

  • SAP experience is strongly preferred

Competencies:

  • Customer focused.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced dynamic work environment.

  • Strong analytical aptitude for problem solving and determining priorities

  • Strong written and verbal communication.
